This looks like a good time to 'buy low' on the Toronto Raptors after going 0-4 SU & 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall. They come in rested after having yesterday off and get two more days off after this game against the Warriors, so they should be putting their best foot forward tonight.
The Warriors are just 1-5 SU & 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall with the majority of those games coming without Stephen Curry. But Curry came back two games ago and led them to their lone victory before coming up short in Miami by a final of 109-116 last night.
Now the Warriors might play it safe and rest Curry tonight in this 2nd of a back-to-back. The injury news is bad for the Warriors right now as Draymond Green, Kevon Looney, Jordan Poole and Eric Paschall are all questionable after several of them were injured against the Heat last night.
Toronto is 18-5 ATS in its last 23 games after failing to cover the spread in three or more consecutive games coming in. The Warriors are 2-7 ATS in their last nine road games. Golden State is 6-21-1 ATS in its last 28 games playing on zero rest. The Warriors are 0-5 ATS in their last five games as underdogs. Bet the Raptors Friday.

We often don’t like taking double-digit favorites in the NBA, because the backdoor is usually open. But we think the Celtics will be very motivated here. They have lost two straight and four of six. They have a losing record and currently hold down the No. 8 spot in the East, with a couple teams breathing down their neck. This is just the kind of game they need to win big to get confidence back and solidify their place in the standings. The Rockets barely got the cover last time out against Brooklyn and this team is 0-6 ATS in their last six after an ATS cover. We don’t think Boston will leave anything to chance here and will bring their A Game to the table tonight.

It's really hard to trust the Boston Celtics to cover an 11.5-point spread at this point. They are just 3-7 SU in their last 10 games overall and trailed big in their last two loses to the Pelicans and Mavericks before making it close late. The Houston Rockets have been more competitive lately with only one loss by more than 12 points in their last seven games. And even that 12-point loss was to the Nets, who are playing some of the best basketball in the NBA right now. And the Nets actually trailed the Rockets by double-digits for most of the game before a huge 4th quarter. The Celtics are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games as favorites. Boston is 1-5 ATS in its last six games as a home favorite. Give me the Rockets.

So, when I mention a sprinkle on the money line it means no more than 20% of my 3% betting amount will be wagered using the money line. If our dog is lined between 3.5 and 9.5 points, the percentage used on the money line will range from 10 to 20% of the 3% best size. The sprinkle on the money line will decrease is size the closer it is to double digits. A double-digit dog will have 10% of the 3% bet amount bet using the money line. A 3.5 point dog will have 20% of the 3% bet size placed using the money line.
Here are a few quick hitters. Indiana is just 5-19 ATS when facing good 3-point shooting teams, like Charlotte, making 36% or more of those attempts in games played this season. They are also just 4-13 ATS when facing teams that are allowing 47% (league average) or more opponent shooting.
From the machine learning applications, Charlotte is expected to score 111 or more points and make 38% of their 3-point shot attempts. So, Charlotte is expected to exceed the league averages in these two performance measures and ion past games when they have achieved these standards, has earned them a highly profitable 40-13-1 ATS record for 76% winning bets over the last three seasons. Plus, 9-3 ATS for 75% winning bets when playing on back-to-back nights.

Things certainly haven't gone well for the Flames lately so perhaps their postponement in Vancouver on Wednesday served as a bit of a reprieve. They've lost five of their last six games overall, scoring two goals or less in all five of those losses. Things don't figure to improve in a hurry and not likely on Friday against an Oilers squad that has allowed just 2.4 goals per game when coming off a loss by four or more goals over the last three seasons, with those contests totaling an average of just 5.4 goals. On a positive note for Calgary, the Flames have allowed just 1.9 goals per game when playing on the road after allowing five or more goals in their last game over the last three seasons, with those games totaling an average of only 4.9 goals. Of course, Calgary has struggled for much of the season offensively, averaging just 2.1 goals per game on the road. The last two meetings between these two teams totaled 7 and 10 goals back in mid-March so I can certainly understand the logic behind the lofty total here, but it doesn't mean I agree with it. Take the under (8*).

My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut for Friday is with the Utah Jazz minus the points versus the Chicago Bulls. Utah (36-11) has won seven in a row with their 111-107 win at Memphis on Wednesday. The Jazz have covered the point spread in 11 of their last 14 games after winning at least five in a row. Utah has also covered the point spread in 17 of their last 22 games at home. Chicago (19-27) has lost five in a row after their 121-116 loss at Phoenix as a 9-point underdog on Wednesday. The Bulls have failed to cover the point spread in 8 of their last 10 games against teams with a winning record. Chicago has also failed to cover the point spread in 7 of their last 11 road games as an underdog getting 12.5 to 18 points. Lay the points with Utah. Best of luck — Frank.
