The Key: Dallas Keuchel proved to be an excellent addition for the White Sox last offseason. He went 6-2 with a 1.99 ERA and 1.09 WHIP across 11 starts in 2020 for them. And I like the price we are getting on Keuchel and the White Sox in his first start of 2021. He won his last 2 starts against the Angels while yielding only 3 earned runs and 10 base runners in 14 2/3 innings. Andrew Heaney has posted a 4.15 ERA or worse in 6 of his 7 seasons in the big leagues. He is 24-29 with a 4.44 ERA lifetime in the majors. The Angels are 1-11 in their last 12 games as a favorite of -150 or less. Take Chicago.

These two teams flew past the total of 8.5 on Thursday, as they combined for 15 runs in the Padres 8-7 win. That high-scoring affair might have some looking to play the OVER in Game 2 of this series, but I really like the UNDER in this one.
Yesterday's two starters were primarily responsible for all the scoring, as Arizona's Madison Bumgarner allowed 6 runs in 4 innings, while San Diego's Yu Darvish gave up 4 in 4 2/3 innings.
I don't see today's two starters giving up anything close to that. The Padres will have Blake Snell on the mound and we know what kind of arm he has. Snell was outstanding in spring ball. In 3 starts (14 1/3 innings), he didn't allow a run with a 0.63 WHIP and .106 opponents BA.
Arizona will turn to Merril Kelly, who has quite the impressive history against the Padres. He's 5-1 with a 2.75 ERA and 1.169 WHIP in 7 starts. Kelly did have a not so great 5.30 ERA and 1.50 WHIP in 5 spring starts, but he was great in his last outing, giving up just 1 run in 5 innings with 6 K's against the White Sox. Give me the UNDER 8.5!

We saw the Suns kind of go through the motions in Wednesday's 121-116 win against the Bulls, which they failed to cover as 9-point favorite. I think we see another lackluster showing here at home against a bad OKC team that despite their lack of talent are still playing hard.
