Could best this field based on the speed figure - 77 - of her last outing. CC MOONFLASH - Likely to see a formidable attempt with the class drop. One of the most favorable win percentages between this jockey and conditioner make this filly dangerous.

UNCLE MANNY - Using this rider/conditioner combination is a smart move. Have to like the way Montoya has raced this gelding back into shape off the layoff. Horse is well spotted in this sprint and I think he'll run well today. GRAYS THE BAR - I think the shorter distance will help this gelding stay the distance. This horse didn't run well in the slop in his last race at Parx Racing. You probably should discount that effort. RISING STORM - The jock/handler duo of Milan and Castillo has a strong ROI together. This gelding is in top condition right now. Ran third last time around the track and comes back quickly.

BLACKJACK JEDI - Unlikely for this one to make an impact with no success lately in a sprint affair. The finish position of fifth in the last race shows me that this horse may be losing physical conditioning. Finished fifth in his most recent performance with a common speed rating. When I look at today's Equibase class figure, it would take an improved performance to prove victorious after that in this group. FREEDOM FORCE - This colt finished outside the top 3 on Jan 23rd and wasn't near the winner last time out either. Not easy to invest in any horse in a sprint affair at 4/1 when he hasn't shown any on the board results in sprints in the last couple months. STAR LUCK - Pace makes the race. Tough for this early speedball to be able to manage the pace pressure from the rest of this field.

My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut for the card on Wednesday is with the Philadelphia 76ers minus the points versus the Brooklyn Nets. Philadelphia (37-17) has won three of their last four games after their 113-95 win at Dallas as a 3.5-point favorite on Monday. The 76ers return home where they have covered the point spread in 29 of their last 43 games on their home court. Philly is also 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 games when favored. Brooklyn (37-17) comes off a 127-97 win at Minnesota last night as a 7.5-point favorite. The Nets have failed to cover the point spread in 5 of their last 7 games after a straight-up win. Brooklyn has also failed to cover the point spread in 12 of their last 17 games when playing without rest. It looks like Kevin Durant, LaMarcus Aldridge, and Blake Griffin will not be playing tonight (and who knows about Kyrie Irving) -- and James Harden remains on the shelf with his groin issue. Carlos Rodon has battled injuries throughout his career. When healthy is is a top flight MLB starter. But he missed his start earlier in the week with a stomach flu. He's been good over his career against the Indians, but has a 6.14 ERA in his last seven overall starts.
The Cleveland bullpen threw just 16 pitches last night as Beiber went nine full innings, the Sox pen combined for 47. Marshall, Hendriks and Crochet all took the mound. Plenty of value on the underdog Indians here.
