Turf Paradise - Race #6 - Post: 4:00pm - Claiming - 6.5 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $8,500 Class Rating: 76
Rating:

#6 OVERKOTER (ML=9/2)
#4 PRAISE LOUDLY (ML=5/1)
#1 DIIACHI (ML=8/1)
OVERKOTER - After the contest aboard this animal on March 26th, the rider is going to be acquainted with the gelding much better. When Wong gives Fuentes a leg up on any noble animal, you know full well that with their win percent you have much more than a fighting chance. Have to like the way Wong has raced this gelding back into shape off the layoff. Equine is well spotted in this sprint and I think he'll run well today. PRAISE LOUDLY - Personally, I wouldn't worry about where he finished in his last race (fourth). Should improve in this race, with some respectable odds. Earnings per start is something that I think can be a key handicapping factor. This thoroughbred is ranked number 1 in this field. DIIACHI - I just may give this one a shot. Should rebound off last race where he did run off the board, but was within 5 lengths at the wire. Gelding is a few starts into a come back here. Should give a top effort today. This jock/handler duo has been producing a very positive ROI, right at +368.
Vulnerable Contenders: #10 DANDY VAN (ML=3/1), #7 OFFICER OF WAR (ML=4/1), #8 JAMASON (ML=6/1),
DANDY VAN - Tough to keep stabbing at this sort of 'hanger' horse. A 'bounce' is likely to happen for this horse this time out. May rebound next time. JAMASON - The Brain cautions me to stay away from horses in sprint affairs that haven't finished in the money in sprint affairs recently.
