This is a pretty short number for the Washington Wizards to be laying tonight given how well they are playing right now. They are 12-3 SU in their last 15 games overall with two of those losses coming by a combined 4 points. They are also 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games overall.
The Indiana Pacers are getting too much respect from the books off their 152-95 blowout win over the Oklahoma City Thunder last time out. But everyone is beating up on the Thunder. The Pacers had lost by 21 to Portland and by 17 to Brooklyn in their two games prior.
The Pacers haven't beaten a playoff contender since April 11th. Their last five wins have come against the Thunder (twice), Pistons, Magic and Rockets. Their last six losses came to playoff contenders like the Wizards all by 8 points or more and by an average of 14.0 points per game.
The Wizards are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games as favorites. The Pacers are 0-4 ATS in their last four games as underdogs. Indiana is 2-7 ATS in its last nine games following an ATS win. Washington beat Indiana 132-124 at home on March 29th in their lone meeting this season. Bet the Wizards Monday.

Monday NBA Free play. My selection is on Detroit minus the points over Orlando at 7:10 pm et on Monday.
This is an ugly matchup to be sure but that doesn't mean there isn't money to be made. I like the fade spot for the Magic here as they come off of Saturday's thrilling last-second win over the Grizzlies in a quick revenge spot after dropping a blowout decision in Memphis on Friday (we won with the Grizzlies and the 'under' in that game). Here, Orlando might have a tougher time getting up for the lowly Pistons, who are coming off a lopsided loss in Charlotte on Saturday (we won with the Hornets in that one). Detroit is in tough with a boatload of key injuries and absences right now but it hasn't quit on the season, as evidenced by a double-digit win over the Hawks and a reasonably close loss to the Mavs (Dallas was missing Luka Doncic) last week. Wins will likely be few and far between for these two teams down the stretch but I think home court does mean something here, noting that Detroit has taken each of the last three meetings in the Motor City and checks in a respectable 17-12 ATS at home this season. Orlando is 15-15 ATS on the road this season but has been outscored by 9.0 points per game as the visitor. Take Detroit (8*).

I think we are getting some exceptional value with the Rangers in Monday's series opener against the Twins. I know the Twins are going to likely get this thing turned around, but you can't just ignore the fact that they are 10-16 right now with a mere 5-8 record at home. Texas hasn't been great, but really weren't expected to do much. They are 13-16 and have played near .500 ball on the road at 6-7.
Rangers come in with some momentum, as they just took 3 of 4 at home against the Red Sox over the weekend.
There's also the starting pitching matchup, which I think heavily favors Texas. The Rangers will have Dane Dunning on the mound. He's got a respectable 3.97 ERA with a solid 1.279 WHIP in 5 starts. The advanced stats are even more impressive as he owns a 2.23 FIP and 3.29 xFIP.
Kenta Maeda will go for the Twins. He's regarded as one of the top pitchers in the AL, but comes in with a 6.56 ERA and 1.757 WHIP in 5 starts. In his last two outings he's allowed 12 runs on 16 hits (6 HR) with just 4 K's in 8 2/3 innings of work.
It just feels like we are seeing the Twins get way overvalued here because they are perceived to be the better team with the better starter going. Give me the Rangers +166!

Monday's Free NBA Pick is on the New Orleans Pelicans as a 3-point home favorite against the Golden State Warriors. Both these teams are fighting to make the play-in tournament. Right now Golden State is in, sitting at 9th. They are 0.5-game back of the Grizzlies at No. 8, but 4 back of No. 7 Portland. They are also just 3 games up on the Pelicans, who are 11th and just 2.5 back of the Spurs in 10th.
Not only do the Pelicans have a shot here to make ground up on Golden State, but with the Spurs playing at Utah tonight they got a shot here to move just 1.5 back of SA. It's a big game for both teams, but much bigger for New Orleans.
Pelicans have recently got healthy and it's showing, as they have gone 3-1 SU and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games.
Steph Curry has been playing out of his mind, but he almost has to do too much. Warriors will be without Kelly Oubre and potentially Andrew Wiggins (questionable). No Wiggins would really be a blow, as his top backup Damion Lee is in quarantine. Bet the Pelicans -3!
