L.A. ANGELS @ TEXAS | 04/28 | 8:05 PM EDT
TEXAS +1.5
ANALYSIS: AL West rivals have split the first two in the series, each in blowout fashion. The home Rangers appear to have the pitching edge Wednesday behind Dane Dunning (1-0, 3.06), the key piece back this offseason in the Lance Lynn trade with the White Sox. Dunning was roughed up by the Pale Hose last time out but was great his first three starts. The Halos' Alex Cobb (1-1, 6.28) has allowed at least three runs in each outing. Texas at -145 on the runline is solid value with L.A. resting a couple of regulars (but not Mike Trout).

PORTLAND @ MEMPHIS | 04/28 | 9:00 PM EDT
MEMPHIS -120
ANALYSIS: Bit surprised this spread isn't a few points larger as the Blazers are in the second of a back-to-back -- although they didn't sweat much Tuesday in Indy -- and lost consecutive home games last weekend to the Grizzlies. Both teams appear quite healthy, and Memphis is giving more and more run to Jaren Jackson Jr. in his recent return from a long injury absence (sat one of the Portland games). The Grizz also have won the past four at home in this series.

ORLANDO @ CLEVELAND | 04/28 | 7:00 PM EDT
CLEVELAND -159
ANALYSIS: This might be the first time I've backed Cleveland as a favorite this season; the Cavs haven't exactly been in that position often. While they will not have leading scorer Collin Sexton tonight, they still will have the three best players on the floor in red-hot Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen and Kevin Love. Orlando is in full tank mode and has dropped 12 of 13. The Magic's starting lineup tonight is almost laughable. They may not win on the road, at least, the rest of the way.
