BLOKE - Nice return on investment for this jockey and trainer tandem. Jock jumped on this colt's back for the first ride on April 10th. Should 'know' the equine even better today. Entered a Maiden Special race at Charles Town in the last race and raced on the mud finishing fourth. Expect better in this event. MALIBU CIRCLE - This jockey/trainer duo has been producing a high win percent, right around 30. This speed freak should benefit from this shorter trip. This steed is at the top of my list of top contenders. His pace, along with a favorable post on this bullring, should take him far in this one. This gelding gets a weight break of -6 lbs from last race. Certainly could make the difference in this race.

Vulnerable Contenders: #7 AHMAS (ML=2/1), #4 NATIVE COURAGE (ML=9/2), #8 POLITICAL DECISION (ML=6/1),

AHMAS - Don't think this questionable contender has what it takes to be victorious this time. NATIVE COURAGE - Hard to wager on at 9/2 odds after the two most recent efforts. If you keep betting these sort of 'hanger' types, you're going to be let down frequently. POLITICAL DECISION - Finished second in his most recent effort with a most unsatisfactory speed rating. When I look at today's Equibase class figure, it would take an improved performance to triumph after that in this group.

I've got to go with BEAST OF WILDWOOD. Will almost certainly come out solid - I have liked the way this filly has moved quickly to the lead recently. Overall, has one of the best earnings per start in dirt sprint events in this group. Should expect a much better outing with the drop. LEDECKY - With a solid jock who has won at a very strong 19 percent clip over the last month. This has to be one of the top choices. Should be considered based on the solid Equibase Speed Figure earned in the last contest. MISS MIAMI - Could provide positive gains based on very good recent Speed Figures with an average of 70. The Equibase Speed Figure of 72 from her latest contest looks solid in here.

HI JAZZIN SOLDIER - With Flores controlling the reins on him, this gelding ought to be able to break out quickly in this contest. Is a solid choice - given the 59 Equibase Speed Figure from his most recent race.
