The Spurs can clinch a playoff spot with a win tonight over the Brooklyn Nets. They came up big with a 146-125 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. And now they have their sights set on the Nets tonight. The Spurs are the fresher team as they had Tuesday off while the Nets will be playing the second of a back-to-back after a win in Chicago last night. Both Kyrie Irving and James Harden are questionable for the Nets tonight as well. The Spurs are 13-5-1 ATS in their last 19 road games. The Nets are 6-14 ATS in their last 20 games when playing the second of a back-to-back. San Antonio is 15-5 ATS in its last 20 meetings in Brooklyn. Give me the Spurs.

While it's true they still have a shot at the division, the Knights may be a little deflated after coming up short against Colorado, a game they were quite depleted for. Though the Sharks are primarily focued on evaluating talent, they figure to want this one. Not only is it their final game of the season but Vegas has beaten them in all seven meetings. Note that four of those seven losses came by a single goal. The Sharks have seen four of their last five decided by just one goal. Vegas, meawhile, has seen five of six decided by a single goal. In what could well be another close one, consider SJ on the puck-line.

Wednesday NHL Free play. My selection is on the 'under' between Minnesota and St. Louis at 9:05 pm et on Wednesday.
We couldn't buy an 'under' result in this matchup a couple of weeks ago as the Wild and Blues skated to three straight 'overs' in Minnesota. The scene shifts to St. Louis on Wednesday and I look for a reversal of that trend, noting that the 'under' has cashed in three of the last five meetings here in the Show-Me State. The Wild just keep rolling along offensively, having now scored four goals or more in five of their last six games overall. It's worth noting that all of those games were played on home ice though. Minnesota has been a slightly weaker offensive team on the road this season, averaging 3.0 goals per game compared to its 3.3 goals per game season scoring average. Since that three-game set in Minnesota, St. Louis has posted a 1-4 o/u record over its last five contests, allowing just 2.6 goals per game over that stretch. Note that the 'under' has gone 16-6 with the Wild coming off consecutive games totaling seven goals or more over the last three seasons, with that situation producing an average total of just 5.3 goals. The 'under' is also 11-2 with the Blues revenging a one-goal loss against an opponent this season, with an average total of just 5.4 goals in that spot. With both of these teams having all but locked up their divisional seeding (the Wild have an outside chance of surpassing the second-place Avs but it's highly unlikely), I'm anticipating a relatively 'low-event' affair on Wednesday. Take the under (8*).

This is a favorable spot for the Rockets, too. They had yesterday off while the Lakers will be playing the 2nd of a back-to-back after needing overtime to beat the Knicks 101-99 last night. Now they will be without Dennis Schroder and could be without both LeBron James and Anthony Davis, who are banged up. It will also be the 5th game in 7 days for the Lakers.
The Rockets are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games. The Lakers are 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall. Los Angeles is 1-10 ATS in its last 11 games following a SU win. The Lakers are 0-5 ATS in their last five home games vs. a team with a losing road record. Houston is a perfect 7-0 ATS as a road underdog of 12.5 or more points this season.
