    MLB | Giants vs Pirates
Play on: Giants -123 at pinnacle

The Giants have been much better at home going 14-4 compared to 9-10 on the road. But this is a low lay price to fade the Pirates against a superior foe.
Pittsburgh is 4-11 in its last 15 games and 2-7 during its past nine home contests. San Francisco is 38-22 versus sub .500 foes during the past two seasons, including winning 28 of the past 40 times. The pitching matchup is Johnny Cueto versus southpaw Tyler Anderson. My preference is Cueto. The Padres roughed up Cueto in his last start getting to him for five runs in three innings this past Sunday. Cueto may have been rusty coming off the Injured List. His previous start was back on April 14. Before he went on IL, Cueto had permitted just one earned in his prior two starts covering 14 1/3 innings with an 11-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio. This was at home against the Rockies and Reds, who are the No. 2 scoring team in the majors. Cueto has a dominant history versus the Pirates with a 21-4 record and 2.13 ERA in 31 career starts. He faces a weak-hitting Pittsburgh lineup that is 29th in runs averaging 3.3 a game. The Pirates also rank among the bottom in many metric-type categories, including OPS and hard-hit rate. Anderson has been decent going 3-3 with a 3.05 ERA. This is well above his past ERA's. Anderson's ERA's the previous four seasons were never lower than 4.37. The Giants know him well since he pitched for San Francisco last year. The Giants are 8-4 against lefty starters this season and 22-14 the past two seasons. Anderson held the Cubs to only two earned runs in eight innings six days ago in his last start. He also threw a season-high 102 pitches. I'm expecting there is going to be regression with Anderson. That could very well happen here.

      Giants ML -135
The San Francisco Giants have some value at-135 today. They are 5-1 in their last 6, yes that 1 loss came yesterday in a game where neither team could score. Johnny Cueto will get the ball for the Giants he is 21-4 in his career against the Pirates
Tyler Anderson will go for the Pirates he has been better of late. his last start was his best, I think we could see some regression here. Some Trends to note. Giants are 4-1 in their last 5 games as a favorite. Giants are 5-2 in their last 7 games vs. a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15. Giants are 4-1 in their last 5 games vs. a left-handed starter.
Take the Giants on the Moneyline!
      Good Luck, Razor Ray.

MLB | Royals vs White Sox
Play on: White Sox -183 at linepros

Saturday MLB Free play. My selection is on Chicago over Kansas City at 7:10 pm et on Saturday.
The White Sox have absolutely owned left-handed starters in recent years and there's little reason to expect that to change on Saturday as they go against a very hittable southpaw in Royals starter Mike Minor. Kansas City snapped its long losing streak with a victory in the opener of yesterday's seven-inning double-header but couldn't keep the momentum going, dropping a 3-1 decision in the second installment. Here, the Royals are up against it facing White Sox starter Carlos Rodon who has really figured things out so far in 2021. Rodon already shut Kansas City down once this season, tossing six shutout innings in Kansas City back on May 7th. For his part, Minor owns a 1-3 career team record against the White Sox and they'll be getting their third look at him already this season, noting that he's struggled to the tune of 12 earned runs allowed over his last 14 2/3 innings of work. Take Chicago (8*).

Boston @ Washington (7:15 PM EST)
            Play On: Boston -123
The Boston Bruins travel to Washington to take on the Capitals on Saturday night. Boston is 33-23 SU overall this year while Washington comes in with a 36-30 SU overall record on the season. Boston is 4-0 last 4 games after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game. Boston is 12-4 last 16 games as a favorite. Boston is 9-4 last 13 games when playing on 3 days or more rest. Washington is 2-7 last 9 playoff games as an underdog. The favorite is 4-1 last 5 meetings in this series. We'll recommend a small play on Boston tonight! Thanks and good luck, Rocky

                  Play on: OVER 232 -110

ASA FREE PLAY: OVER - Miami Heat at Milwaukee Bucks, 8:10 pm ET - We like Over in this big Eastern Conference showdown between the Heat and Bucks. Combined these two have favored the Over all season long with a 77-62-1 Over record. Both are known for their defense but the offenses for each team have been outstanding lately. In their last five games the Heat have the 2nd best offensive efficiency rating in the NBA at 1.232PPP while the Bucks are 3rd overall. Milwaukee does not defend the 3-point shot well with the 28th ranked 3-pt% defense in the NBA while the Heat are 13th in 3-point shooting at 36.6%. Both teams' offenses are playing at a high level right now and based on current trending data our model is predicting 238 total points being scored.

FREE PICK - Arizona Diamondbacks +102
                    RATING: 30*
                    ROT#: 958
I will take the Dbacks at basically even money (+102) at home against the Nationals on Saturday. Washington will send out Joe Ross. He's got a mere 4.26 ERA and 1.295 WHIP in 6 starts. Nationals are just 2-4 in his 6 outings. Ross also has a much worse 5.72 FIP, which suggests he's actually been lucky despite his poor numbers.
Luke Weaver will go for Arizona. His numbers are actually worse than Ross, as he has a 5.00 ERA and 1.250 WHIP in 7 starts. However, Weaver is one of those starters that is just a different guy when he takes the mound at home. Weaver has a 1.56 ERA and 0.866 WHIP in 3 home starts. Arizona has won all 3 starts.
Diamondbacks also hit much better at home than they do on the road. Arizona averages a modest 4.8 runs/game on the season, but are scoring 5.5 runs/game at home. Nationals don't score at home or on the road. Give me the Dbacks +102!

                      MLB | Indians vs Mariners
Play on: Indians -108 at linepros

My free play is on the Cle Indians at 9:10 ET.
The Indians entered the current season with FOUR playoff appearances in the last five seasons, missing only in 2019 (despite 93 wins). As for Seattle, the Mariners are currently on a 19-year playoff drought, ever since they tied the all-time record for wins in a regular season back in 2001 with 116. The Indians and Mariners opened a four-game series in Seattle Thursday, with Cleveland winning 4-2. However, Seattle (now 19-20) rebounded with a 7-3 win on Friday, snapping a five-game losing streak. The loss ended a four-game winning streak for the Indians, who at 21-15, sit 1 1/2-games back of the White Sox in the AL Central (note: Chicago owns MLB's best record at 23-14).
Saturday's starting pitchers are Trsiton McKenzie (1-1, 4.94 ERA) for Cleveland and Justus Sheffield (2-3, 4.91 ERA). McKenzie made eight appearances in 2020 (six starts) and was solid, going 2-1 with a 2.34 ERA and 0.90 WHIP (Cleveland was 3-3 in his starts). However, he hasn't matched that here in 2021 (six appearances / five starts), as his ERA has 'jumped' by more than 1 1/2-runs (see above) and his WHIP is all the way up 1.61. Sheffield entered the current season with 21 career appearances (17 starts), going 4-4 with a 4.50 ERA. In six starts this season, he's 2-3 (team is 3-3) with a 4.91 ERA and 1.52 WHIP.
The starting pitching matchup is a 'wash' (neither pitcher inspires confidence) but the Indians enter having won 13 of their last 17 games, while the Mariners' 11-6 start is slowly 'melting away' (Seattle is just 8-14 in its last 22).
                      Good luck...Larry

                          Play on: OVER 2½ -162

This is a free play on Over 2.5.
Tony Ferguson is now 37 years old, and coming off consecutive losses you might not think he has much left to give as a mixed martial artist. He will be an underdog here against Beneil Dariush, but don't expect this to be an easy fight by any means. Ferguson went the distance in his last fight, losing the decision to Oliveira, and his KO loss to Justin Gaethje came in the fifth round. In 31 professional fights, that was his only loss by knockout. He's also only lost once by submission. He should be able to stand in there for at least three rounds, and an upset wouldn't be that big of a surprise either.

Going to stay in the NBA for this Saturday winner as I continue to build my bankroll for the playoffs..

Eastern Conference action with the Heat visiting the Bucks as the regular season nears its conclusion and I am looking for the Over to be the way to go totals-wise.

Miami saw a 10-game Over run halted when their defense held the Philadelphia 76ers to just 94 points on Thursday night. Still, Overs in 10 of their last 11 games and 16 of their last 22 overall leads me to believe they can run the score up with the Bucks who also have a propensity for playing their games Over the total as well.

The Bucks have played 4 of their last 5 games this season Over the total and have landed Over in 22 of their 35 home games this season and happen to be 40-29-1 Over the total for the entire season.

This will be the third and final regular season series meeting between the teams and thus far the teams have split in the Over/Under column. Tonight we head Over.

My complimentary winner is on the Colorado Rockies plus money at home against the Cincinnati Reds.

Colorado has won three straight, and is now 13-10 in Denver, where the Rockies have outscored visitors, 136-117. It's a vast difference than their 2-14 record on the road this season.

The Rockies have taken the first two in this series, and I like the price in this one, regardless of what the oddsmakers think about this pitching matchup.

Colorado right-hander Jhoulys Chacín will make his first start of the 2021 season after six appearances out of the bullpen. In his career as a starter, he has posted a 4.03 ERA in 226 career starts.

Cincinnati starter Tyler Mahle has started against the Rockies thrice in his career, and is 0-1 with a 7.53 ERA. He is 0-1 at Coors Field with a 9.64 ERA in two starts there. He has no business laying this much money to the Rockies in Denver.

                              Take the home dog.

Low, low, low we go at Camden Yards when the Yankees and the Orioles play their middle game of this weekend set in Charm City.

Friday night's series opener just slipped Over the total between these division-rivals, but even so the Yankees are still 4-2 Under the total for their last 6 games played.

For the season New York is now 15-22-1 Under for the season as this powerful Yanks lineup just has not been able to consistently produce on offense this year.

Baltimore has played 3 of their last 5 Under the total and the Under is still 7-3 for their last 10 games played.

Series numbers now show 6 of the 8 meetings between these A.L. East rivals have held Under the total, and with Domingo German and Jorge Lopez going to the hill, I say we see another low-scoring affair.

German has seen 4 of his 6 starts stay Under, including a 7-0 win earlier this season over the Orioles in which he blanked Baltimore for 7 full innings.

Lopez has seen each of his last 6 starts hold Under the total and that includes a pair pitched against the Yankees.

Stick with the established Under trends one more time with the Yankees and the Orioles for Saturday night.
