My selection is on Florida over Tampa Bay at 8:05 pm et on Monday.
The Panthers are back on home ice facing elimination on Monday night and I look for them to extend this series for at least one more game. Note that Florida is 15-6 off a loss this season and an incredible 11-1 after allowing three goals or more in three consecutive games. Meanwhile, in a bit of a quirky trend, the Lightning have gone 0-5 after being involved in consecutive games where eight or more total goals were scored over the last two seasons, outscored by 2.0 goals per game in that situation. The Panthers just didn't have it on Saturday. I fully expect to see a much better performance from them as they face elimination on home ice on Monday. Take Florida (8*).
