CIVIL SERVANT - In this race here, this pony has clearly shown signs that he likes the turf. His speed ratings are the highest in the field for this distance and surface. Saenz should have him moving big on the turn. Have to watch for this animal on the grass. Last race at Evangeline Downs, scored a big turf number. Have to think he can do it again right here in this race. This horse earns a lot of money per start. I believe he can augment the lifetime total in this event. This horse has the class to win the race. A tactical ride by Saenz, and this one could bound home the winner. OLD SOT - This horse has impressed last two times out posting solid Equibase speed figures. With a repeat performance, he'll probably win this race. Trainer Gallegos gave this horse a good stiff workout. Last one was 2nd fastest of the day. Just see his most recent speed rating, 78. That one looks good in this field.

KREWS PASS - Can't play this morning-line favorite off the extended layoff.
