ANALYSIS: Still a bit ticked we lost on the A's Thursday as their bullpen imploded in the seventh and eighth innings. It's lefty Cole Irvin (4-7, 3.89) on the bump, and he's on five days of rest -- Irvin is 4-0 with a 1.13 ERA in five starts on five days rest or more. Kansas City is 2-5 in its past seven on the road against a southpaw. The Royals counter with Brady Singer (3-5, 4.88). He's 1-2 with a 5.91 ERA on the road. Oakland is 4-0 in its past four in Game 2 of a series.

ANALYSIS: Texas carries a 15-game road losing streak into Dodger Stadium and loses a decent bat with no designated hitter. Mike Foltynewicz (1-6, 4.75) is 0-2 with a 5.40 ERA on the road this year. This may matter a little more to Dodgers lefty Clayton Kershaw (7-5, 3.66) as he's from the Dallas area and has made just one previous start vs. his hometown team. Kershaw is 3-2 with a 3.55 ERA in six starts at Dodger Stadium this season. We won on L.A. on the runline Thursday in Pittsburgh and that's the best value here.

ANALYSIS: Yes, the White Sox destroy lefties, but they are going to start to feel the loss of excellent rookie second baseman Nick Madrigal, who might be done for the year due to a torn hamstring. Detroit does start a lefty, but Tarik Skubal (3-7, 4.33) is a touted prospect who has allowed two earned or fewer in four straight starts and also has four consecutive outings with eight strikeouts or more. He’s just the fourth rookie since 2010 to post such a streak. That includes last Saturday at the White Sox when he bested Chicago's Friday starter Lucas Giolito (5-5, 3.88). The Pale Hose also are 1-5 in their past six on the road. Detroit on the runline at -120.

Woodruff has 10 quality starts this year and opponents are batting just .150 off him. The Bucs' Chase De Jong (0-0, 5.40) is only in the rotation because of injuries. The 27-year-old was signed as a minor league free agent in December and is 1-5 with a 6.85 ERA in his MLB career spanning four teams and 64.1 innings. The Brewers aren't good value at -270 on the ML but are on the runline.
