Joe Musgrove is 4-6 with a 2.50 ERA this season but the Padres are 2-8 in their last 10 games and they have lost three in a row. They have the 7th worst wOBA in the league against lefties and they are just 18-16 when they get a lefty starting pitcher all season. The Reds have won six straight games and their bullpen has been good recently while the Padres bullpen has been terrible. Take the value on the Reds.

ANALYSIS: This line has risen so much in the time that Ive done this writeup that the value is almost gone, but Im gonna stick with it. Kevin Gausman is 7-1 with a 1.43 ERA this season and he has only allowed more than two runs in a game once this season. Zac Gallen returns from the IL to make this start, but he was having command issues before he went on the IL. He has allowed at least two walks in all of his starts this season, and I don’t see that improving after coming off the IL. The Dbacks have lost 13 in a row and 22 in a row on the road. The Giants are 21-9 at home this season, lay the heavy price for the Giants to get the sweep.

  The Bucks continue to prove to backers that they’re not a team worth backing in pressure situations. The Greek Freak may be efficient around the rim, but his jump shot needs a ton of work and Milwaukee doesn’t have the personnel to stop both James Harden and Kevin Durant. Durant is the best offensive player on the planet, showcasing his talents by dropping 49 as the Nets took a 3-2 series lead. Harden now has a game of “live action” under his belt and we can expect a much better shooting performance out of him. Brooklyn smells blood in the water and catching this many points is a gift. Marquez allowed 9 runs in just 5 innings last time out against the Reds. This is the perfect situation to make money betting against a bad team with an elite pitcher taking the mound.
