IMTAKINITTOTHEBANK - I think this gelding is ready to run a good one. He's had enough efforts since the vacation and should be fit. I have to figure Bowersock is making a good move here. This gelding can only profit from the shorter trip. You probably should overlook that last affair at Thistledown on a sloppy track where he finished outside the top 3. Should do well right here under better track conditions. LIDO LEGACY - Dropping in class figure points from his October 14th race at Presque Isle Downs. Based on that knowledge, I will give this horse the advantage. Last ran at Presque Isle Downs and finished fifth. Reviewing his past performance lines, I see he was close at the wire, within five of the winner. SMART RIDE - Aboard this thoroughbred on May 9th and Ramgeet is right back in the irons this time.

FRANK’S CUTTING ROOM FLOOR FOR SATURDAY, 6/26:

My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut for Saturday afternoon is with Austria plus the goal-line versus Italy. Austria is a dangerous opponent. They have one of the most talented midfields in this tournament with RB Leipzig’s Marcel Sabitzer and Konrad Laimer and Wolfsburg Xaver Schlager. Manager Franco Foda also has a jack-of-all-trades talent in David Alba who played left-back for Bayern Munich but has played in the midfield or left wing for his national team. Alba was poached by Real Madrid earlier this year — he is the wild card talent in this match. Das Team will play conservatively with the hopes of scoring on the counter-attack. They ranked second in the Group Stage by forcing turnovers in 38% of their pressures on the press. Italy may be vulnerable here — their three Group Stage opponents did not top a turnover percentage over 28% with their press in the opening three matches. Italy benefited from an easy group — and they have not played an opponent with as much quality as these Austrians in perhaps three years when they played Portugal (unless Poland or the Netherlands are better competition?). The Italians also played all three of their Group Stage matches on home soil in Rome. This match is in a true neutral environment at Wembley Stadium. Take Austria plus the goal-line. The Italians returned to the International stage with a bang. In going 3-0, they outscored opposing teams by a 7-0 margin. Austria's wins came against North Macedonia and Ukraine. Neither of those teams are in the class of Italy. When the Austrians did step up in class, they got beaten soundly by Holland. This is unfamiliar territory for the Austrians and they haven't defeated the Italians in any of the last 13 meetings. Italy won 10 of those, the teams drawing three times. Making matters worse for Austria, Italy is unbeaten in 30 straight games, a run of 25 wins and five draws. Really, with the way the Italians have looked, this line could be higher. Consider Italy.

ASA FREE PLAY ON OVER 9.5 runs in Minnesota Twins vs Cleveland Indians, Saturday at 2:10 PM ET - 15 runs were scored in yesterday's game between these teams and it could be another wild one here. Sam Hentges has struggled overall this season for the Indians but this has particularly been the case away from home. In road outings, Hentges has an 8.64 ERA this season and a .386 opponents batting average. He also struggled against the Twins when he faced them earlier this year. Kenta Maeda starts for Minnesota here. He has respectable overall numbers this season but Maeda has allowed 8 earned runs (4 homers a factor too) in his 10 and 2 / 3 innings over two starts versus the Indians this year. Also, in day games this season (7 starts), Maeda has a 5.63 ERA and a .324 BAA. The Twins bullpen has struggled this season too and the over is 6-1-1 in the 8 games between these teams this season.
