Joe Ds WEST CONF FINALS GAME 2 WINNER Game: (551) Los Angeles Clippers at (552) Phoenix Suns Date/Time: Jun 22 2021 9:05 PM EDT Betting Line Provider: Consensus Line Play Rating: 4 units Play: Phoenix Suns -5.0 (-110)
Phoenix.
WCF Game 2 Winner.
Game 552.
6:05 pm pst.
The Phoenix Suns have now won and covered eight straight contests. Game 1 of this series was tied, 93-93 when the fourth quarter began. Phoenix then showed why they are the best team in the West, prevailing, 120-114. Both Kawhi Leonard and Chris Paul are ruled out today. Leonard is the Clippers top-scorer, one of their best rebounders, and the teams floor general. L.A. can not compete without him. Paul is a star. However, the Suns have some very talented guards to fill in without affecting the team. Phoenix will once again be too much on the boards and outrebound Los Angeles here. And, if you are concerned about the number, if you recall, the Suns were favored by six points in both Games 1 and 2 of the last round against the Nuggets, and won both by a combined 42 points. The Clippers are 1-4 ATS l5 as a road underdog. The Suns are 10-1 ATS L11 playoff games as a favorite. Take Phoenix. Thank you.
10 UNIT Joe DAmicos MLB DIAMOND PLAY Game: (955) Milwaukee Brewers at (956) Arizona Diamondbacks Date/Time: Jun 22 2021 9:40 PM EDT Betting Line Provider: Consensus Line Play Rating: 10 units Play: Milwaukee Brewers -141 F Peralta (RHP), Z Gallen (RHP) Must Start
Milwaukee Brewers.
Diamond Play.
Game 955.
6:40 pm pst.
Arizona ended a franchise-record 17-game slide on Monday, besting Milwaukee, 5-1. Don’t put too much stock into the Diamondbacks finally getting a victory. This is a club that’s having trouble driving in runs. But to make matters worse, the pitching staff ranks 30th both in Team ERA (5.36) and WHIP (1.46). Prior to yesterday’s loss, the Brewers took nine straight matchups with the Diamondbacks, including all four this season. Freddy Peralta (6-2, 2.28) owns a career, 2-0 record with a 0.87 ERA in three starts vs. Arizona. Zac Gallen (1-2, 3.90) had just one lifetime start vs. Milwaukee, in which he gave up two runs in 5.0 IP, in a 4-0 loss back in 2019. The Brewers are now tied with the Cubs for first place in the NL Central at 40-33. They need every win they can get right now to better their standings in this very competitive division. They are the only team in the division with a winning road record (20-15). Milwaukee is 4-1 L5 at Arizona, 9-4 L13 on the road, and 7-1 L8 vs. teams with a winning percentage under .400. Arizona is 0-4 L4 following a win, 2-14 L16 home games vs. RH starters, and 1-4 L5 vs. the NL Central. Take the Brewers. Thank you.
