Walker Buehler has allowed 1 or less runs in his last 4 starts and he has a career sub .180 batting average against vs the Mets. Carlos Carrasco has been putrid with a 10.32 ERA and a 1.85 WHIP. Add to that the Dodgers CRUSH RHP and are hot the last week and we have a nice play on. If the juice is too high you can take race to 4 for better numbers but I will play it safe with race to 3.

This is a -1 alt run line, the odds are bad so I can not release this as a public play but I am releasing as a client play. The juice is awful but Carrasco has been awful with a 10+ ERA and 1.85 WHIP. Buehler is about as consistent as they come allowing no more than 1 in his last 4 starts. -1 means if they win by 1 it is a push. This is a way to get better odds without losing in a 1 run game. It is pretty good value to get a playoff team with a good SP and great bullpen vs a floundering team trying to end the miserable season at this number. This is a bet on the Brewers on the alt -1 run line. This means if they win by 1 it is a push. Milwaukee has almost every conceivable advantage in this one including last 30 day form, SP, bullpen and lineup. Corbin is a disaster especially on the road allowing 13 in his last 3 starts and Anderson has been great at home with a 2.91 ERA and aside from one blow out has allowed less than 2 runs in 4 starts. Take the Brew Crew here. The Nats are just waiting for the end.Comment

ANALYSIS: This is my Early Edge play today. New York owns the Twins. The Yankees are 106-38 against Minnesota (including playoffs) since 2002 and have won 13 of the last 14 games against the Twins in the Bronx. The Yankees are also the hottest team in baseball since the All-Star break and have covered eight of their last 10 games. The Bombers should have no trouble with Charline Barnes, as they are the second best team against lefthanded pitchers this year. Only once in the last 23 meetings between these teams has a game been decided by one run. Play the run line.

ANALYSIS: There's no need to stop fading the Orioles until they can actually cover a spread. Fifteen straight losses by more than two runs is something we will keep going after. The Braves have won nine of their last 10 and should have little problem handling Keegan Akin while starting Max Fried. Keep it simple and take the run line. Maybe dabble on -2.5 again like we did yesterday too.

ANALYSIS: The Angels are one of the best teams in the league against left handed pitching this season, although Sam Hentges should only go an inning or two. Jaime Barria has been solid in his four starts this season, all against quality lineups. The Angels have won three in a row and don’t play noticeably worse on the road at just 29-31. The Indians don’t have a noticeable home field advantage at just 29-27 at home. The Angels have been hitting lately, as was evidenced by their recent comeback against the Tigers and I don’t expect that to change tonight. Take the Angels.

I like the Rays at home.

Yusei Kikuchi is much better on the road at 5-2 with a 3.10 ERA and he has shown he can shut down the Astros when he pitched seven one hit innings against the Astros earlier this season. The Astros are just 5-5 in their last 10 games and Lance McCullers Jr. is worse at home going 2-3 with a 3.72 ERA. He allowed four runs in six innings in his only appearance against the Mariners this season. Take the value on the Mariners.
