AIR FORCE JET (GB) - My comrades and I have made bucks playing ponies with this type of pace. Follow my advice and do the same. BABY WHITE SOX - Gelding took a little vacation, but has been racing into shape. Likes to go to the lead and the fact that today is a shorter distance should help. Last time around the track, finished seventh in the slop at Mountaineer Park. Expect better right here.

FEVOLA - Not a value play to back the public's choice when he continues to lose time and time again when favored. DIALED UP - Don't believe this horse will do much running in today's event. That last speed figure was substandard when compared with today's class rating. FINAL TRIBUTE - While Equibase's speed ratings are strong, I would cast aside the high one from the August 18th in the mud. Some horses just run well on the off going. This gelding registered a speed fig in his last clash which probably isn't good enough in today's event.

The Tampa Bay Rays are 87-51 this season and one of the most profitable teams in all of baseball to back. They have shown no signs of slowing down here late in the season. The Rays are 16-4 in their last 20 games overall.
Tampa Bay has the clear advantage on the mound with Drew Rasmussen, who has posted a 2.45 ERA and 0.773 WHIP in six starts this season. Rasmussen has posted a 2.25 ERA and 0.750 WHIP in two starts against the Red Sox in 2021.
Eduardo Rodriquez is 11-7 with a 4.88 ERA in 26 starts this season, including 4-3 with a 5.69 ERA in 10 home starts. Rodriquez is 2-3 with a 4.66 ERA in 12 career starts against the Rays as well.

Tampa Bay (87-51) won the opening game of this series last night by an 11-10 score. The Rays have won 4 of their last 5 games after allowing at least five runs in their last game. Tampa Bay has also won 18 of their last 23 games on the road. Boston (79-61) has lost 11 of their last 18 games after a narrow one-run loss to an AL East rival.
