Clayton Kershaw is back, with his first start after a couple of months on the DL. There is no doubt that his pitch count will be limited, and that there will be a few bumps along the way. Even when healthy, Kershaw tends to give up runs early, improving as the game progresses. Zac Gallen has been steady of late, but poor vs. right-handed batting. The Diamondbacks are a notoriously poor hitting team but are a little more successful vs lefties. The total for the first five is as low as 3.5. In that case, take the over in the first 5 innings.
