The Miami Dolphins travel to New York to take on the Jets on Sunday afternoon. Miami is 3-7 SU overall this year while the New York Jets come in with a 2-7 SU overall record on the season. Neither team here is very good offensively but let’s take a look at the Jets defense. They allow 134 yards per game rushing, 283.2 yards per game passing for a whopping 417.2 total yards per game this season. Jets defense is ranked #29 in rushing, #31 in passing and they have the worst overall defense in yards allowed in the entire league at #32. Over the past 3 games the Jets have allowed 40.3 points per game.
The Miami defense has actually stepped it up the past 3 games allowing only 15 points per game and they played two good teams during that time in Buffalo and Baltimore. They will face Joe Flacco and this Jets offense. Flacco hasn't started in a year and was 3rd string QB on this team behind Wilson and White. Their rushing attack is 30th in the league averaging 76.3 yards per game.
When you look at the Miami offense, Brissett got banged up last game and is questionable but I do believe Tua should be ready to go. I’ve got to go with the team with the better QB in my opinion no matter which one starts and the defense that is playing decent right now.
Some trends to consider:
Miami is 16-7 ATS last 23 games after an ATS win.
Jets are 5-13 ATS last 18 games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game.
Jets are 2-8 ATS last 10 games as an underdog.
Jets are 0-5 ATS last 5 games against a team with a losing record.
Miami is 6-0 ATS last 6 games overall vs Jets.

This is a battle of two anemic offenses meeting defenses that have started to play well. Three of the last four Panther games have gone under the total with Carolina having scored a combined 28 points in three games before Can Newton gave them a shot in the arm last week. The WFT has seen their L4 games go under with their offense scoring just 33 combined points in their three games before last weeks Tampa Bay shocker. This one has 20-17 written all over it. #465 ASA FREE PLAY ON Houston +10.5 over Tennessee, Sunday at 1:00 PM ET - Tennessee has gone through a gauntlet of 5 games vs solid competition, winning them all, and is bound for a letdown here. On top of that they have a huge game vs surging New England on deck. The Titans just beat Buffalo, KC, Indy, LA Rams, and New Orleans. They were underdogs in the first 4 games listed. Luck was on their side in many of those games with 3 of them being decided by 3 points or less and the Titans getting outgained by 250 yards combined in those 5 games. Since losing RB Henry to injury, the Titans have played 2 games, been out gained by more than 100 yards, been outrushed in both, yet won by 3 & 2 points. Despite their 8-2 record, Tennessee is getting outgained on the year on both a YPP & YPG basis. Houston is coming off a bye and Tyrod Taylor is back at QB. He also has a game under his belt as he started vs Miami prior to the bye week. The Texans last that game but outgained the Fins but were -3 TO’s. Taylor gives the Texans a much better chance to be successful offensively. While Houston is off a bye, Tennessee is playing their 11th straight week and they are really banged up with 4 starters out on defense and 2 more on IR. In a weird situation, Tennessee is 5-0 SU this season as an underdog and just 3-2 SU as a favorite including a loss vs the Jets. We expect Houston to hang around here.

The Football Team I like here getting 3.5. Both of these teams are off impressive wins last week with Carolina beating AZ in AZ and Washington lead start to finish vs Tampa. Washington's win was by far more impressive though as the Cardinals still had backups everywhere playing while The Football Team beat Tom Brady. Washington hasn't been great against the number so far this season but I also believe they have played a tough schedule. Panthers have a great defense and they deserve credit for that. Where I believe they are getting way too much love is because of Cam being back. Yes, there is no doubt that Cam will motivate the guys but lets be honest how much can he actually play between the 20's? I'm not buying it give me Washington with the 3.5
