The Minnesota Vikings were playing without several key players last week and still beat the Chargers 27-20 on the road in a game they controlled throughout. They held that high-powered Chargers offense to just 253 total yards. Now they get some key players back on defense this week and are ready to take down the Packers. The Vikings could easily be 6-3 this season instead of 4-5 as their coin flip games against the Cardinals and Bengals did not go in their favor. The Packers could easily be 6-4 this season instead of 8-2 as their coin flip games against the Cardinals and Bengals wen their way. So we are getting extra line value because of the records of these two teams, but they are much closer to even teams than most realize. And the Packers have more injuries this week that are concerning. The Vikings have one of the best home-field advantages in the NFL. Minnesota is 19-6-1 ATS in its last 26 games as a home underdog. They get right back in the playoff picture with a win Sunday. Give me the Vikings.

I will take my chances with the Panthers as a slim 3-point home favorite against the Football Team on Sunday. As you can see, I'm laying the big juice for the -3 and recommend you do the same and buy it to 3 if your book is still at 3.5.
I just think that the addition of Cam Newton has really given this Panthers team new life. He came in and made an immediate impact in last week's 34-10 win at Arizona. With how good the Panthers are defensively, they don't need much from their offense.
Thing is, I think the offense could be in store for another big game against Washington. I know the Football Team just held Tom Brady and the Bucs to 19-points last week, but let's not forget all the injuries that Tampa Bay is dealing with on the offensive side.
I also think that double-digit win as a double-digit dog has the Football Team way overvalued coming into this game. Prior to that victory, Washington had lost their previous 4 games and failed to cover all 4. They also hadn't scored more than 13 points in three straight games. I wouldn't be shocked at all if they didn't eclipse that mark on the road against this Panthers defense. Give me Carolina -3!

Sunday NFL Free play. My selection is on Carolina minus the points over Washington at 1 pm et on Sunday.
The Panthers are well-positioned to lay waste to Washington which is in a clear letdown spot off a big win over the Bucs last Sunday. Washington is dealing with a number of key injuries, losing Chase Young from an already struggling defense to a season-ending injury last Sunday. On offense, top WR Terry McLaurin is dealing with a banged-up shoulder and doesn't figure to threaten an elite Panthers pass defense. Carolina's offense is a different beast with a rejuvenated Cam Newton at the helm. Lost in Newton's return has been the progression of do-it-all RB Christian McCaffrey, who will be in his third game back from injury and figures to excel against a very beatable Washington defense. Newton will certainly be jacked-up for this, his homecoming against former head coach Ron Rivera. While I'm not all that high on Newton and the Panthers in the long-term picture, I do expect them to come up big on Sunday afternoon. Take Carolina.

This is a great spot for the Cincinnati Bengals. They are coming off their bye week and highly motivated for a victory after losing their last two games to the Jets and Browns coming in. Look for them to get back in the win column here against the reeling Las Vegas Raiders.
After losing 16-23 on the road to the Giants following their bye week, the Raiders were blasted 14-41 at home by the Kansas City Chiefs last week. They gave up 422 passing yards to the Patrick Mahomes and company with their Cover 3 defense. Look for Joe Burrow to have a field day with this Las Vegas defense as well.
This Las Vegas offense is broken without Henry Ruggs. After managing just 16 points in their first game without him against the Giants, they put up just 14 points on a soft Kansas City defense. They cannot run the ball, and Josh Jacobs is questionable. So it's easy to stop the Raiders when teams know they just need to double-team TE Darren Waller. The Bengals will definitely take a page out of the Giants and Chiefs books defensively.
Las Vegas is 1-9 ATS in its last 10 home games following a blowout loss by 21 points or more. Cincinnati is 5-1 ATS in its last six games following a double-digit home loss. The Raiders are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game. Cincinnati is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings. Bet the Bengals Sunday.

Arizona has 20 players on the injury report who are either out or questionable. The Seahawks are about as healthy as they have been all year. Seattle is 36-15-4 ATS in its last 55 games off a loss. Sports fans, it looks like Kyler Murray should make his return this week. AND even if he does not and Colt McCoy is under center again, I doubt he will have a repeat of last week’s poor performance. Let’s not forget, the Arizona offensive unit is one of the most well-balanced in all of football and lining up against the Seattle defense is a cure for any ailment folks. I know when it comes to scoring, the Seahawks stop-unit overall possesses some good numbers. But their stats against both the pass and run are awful. And now, with their offense struggling so badly, their defense has become overworked and tired. And in this matchup will give up points. This is a team whose sole victory over the last five games has been against the Jaguars. Folks, coming off their worst loss, and I checked this, their worst loss since late-December 2019, expect the Cardinals to bounce back here in a big way and flex their NFC muscles and further separate themselves from the rest of the division.
