PREMIER WISH - Taking a trip down in class ranks; has the ability to make her presence felt. Don't often see a beneficial ROI like +34. This rider/trainer twosome has done well together over the last twelve months. Should do well right here in this race. Weight shift of -6 from March 6th race at Oaklawn Park. SWEET QUEEN BEE - I like horses that return to a similar class level after dropping at least five class-rating points like this one did last time out. I believe she'll be competitive at this class. The jockey/trainer tandem of Rosario and Sims has a strong ROI together. You probably should ignore that last clash at Keeneland in the slop where she finished off the board. Should do well right here without the off-track conditions. CAUGHT LOOKING - Hernandez and Arnold getting together are a handicapper's friend. The May 15th race at Churchill Downs was at a class level of (92). Dropping to a lower level drastically, so she should be in a good position to win. This filly is most certainly on the improve with Equibase speed figures of 55, 79, 89 last three out. This filly's last speed rating is high enough to score here, I'll bet on her back again today.

OFF WE GO - This runner showed very liitle last out finishing third. Don't see any chance of any improvement in today's event. SHANIAH - Going to have a tough go of it with all of the other early speed in this affair. STELLAR GRACE - In any race of 6 furlongs, I like to support a contender that has been on the board in sprint contests lately. The speed fig in the last race doesn't fit very well in this race when I look at the Equibase class figure of today's event. Mark this horse as a possibly overvalued equine.

The Key: The Houston Texans returned from their bye and upset the Tennessee Titans 22-13 as 10-point road underdogs last week. They are just such a better team with Tyrod Taylor at quarterback. His dual-threat ability adds another dimension to their offense that opponents have to prepare for. He had 2 rushing touchdowns against the Titans last week to lead the way. And now he should have a monster game against the worst defense in the NFL in the Jets. New York yields 32.0 PPG and 414.3 YPG this year. And not even Zach Wilson can save them offensively as he is expected to return to the lineup this week. They have so many other injuries on offense that are going to make his job that much more difficult, while the Texans are one of the healthiest teams in the NFL. Wilson has 4 TD against 9 INT this year and is a turnover machine. He has been the worst of the 4 QB's for the Jets thus far. New York is 14-34-3 ATS in its last 51 road games. Take Houston.

I've been burned by the Panthers quite a bit this season. Just feels like I've been off on them in the majority of their games. I think they are going to cover and they don't and when I bet against them they play like Super Bowl contenders. It's the only reason I didn't make this a premium play, because I love the Panthers laying less than a field goal against the Dolphins.
It's really hard to win games when your offense can't sustain drives and this Miami offense is one of the worst in the NFL. They haven't scored 30 points in a single game and we are going into Week 12. They could only muster 24 against an awful Jets defense last week.
Now they face one of the better defensive teams in the league in the Panthers and they are going to get Carolina's best after an ugly loss at home to Washington last week. I just think Miami's defense has to be perfect for them to have any shot here and I'm willing to be Cam Newton and Christian McCaffrey can find enough offense to win this game. Give me the Panthers -1.5!

The Houston Texans and the New York Jets are coming into Week 12 with identical 2-8 records straight up. I think Houston has a pretty big edge in this matchup though, and a big reason is their home-field advantage.
The Jets are 0-5 against the spread away from home this season while the Texans are 2-1-1 ATS in their home games.
Additionally, while the Jets' defense has been particularly atrocious in recent weeks, note that the Texans have allowed a total of only 30 points through their last two games and they took down AFC South leader Tennessee last week.
