We won with the 'over' in the Hornets stunning 130-127 win in Atlanta last night. I won't hesitate to switch gears on Monday, however, as Charlotte returns home undermanned in a tough back-to-back spot against the defensive-minded 76ers. Philadelphia has allowed just 96, 88 and 96 points in its last three games and as I mentioned will get a chance to face a Hornets squad that is missing a number of key contributors due to Covid protocols, not to mention the fact that they're playing on no rest. It's not as if the Hornets were really able to break through offensively at the best of times in this matchup last season, scoring 112, 101 and 111 points in three meetings with the Sixers. Philadelphia did have its way offensively with the Hornets last season but this 76ers squad has struggled to find consistency at that end of the floor, particularly on the road where they average just 103.8 points per game. The Hornets have been a better defensive team at home, where they allow four points per game less and a 3.1% lower field goal percentage compared to their season averages. The 76ers have posted two of their lowest five scoring outputs of the season over their last two games with those contests going 'under' the total by a combined 54 points. Take the under.
