The Cincinnati Bengals travel to Denver to take on the Broncos on Sunday afternoon. Both teams come in with identical 7-6 SU overall records on the season. Tough loss for Cincinnati in overtime to San Francisco 26-23 this past week while Denver is off an easy win over the Detroit Lions 38-10. The Falcons have done their best work on the road this year and have had success at this venue including a 29-22 win back in 2019 which was the last time they were in. The Dirty Birds are 6-2 ATS as road dogs in their L8 and 5-2 straight up this year. The 49ers are notorious ticket burners at Levi Field to the tune of 5-16-1 L22 as a home favorite. Add to the mix Hotlanta's 6-2 straight up run in the series makes taking double-digits with a team that is still trying to make the playoffs and has a legit shot still worth a flyer.

I like the price we are getting on the Bengals as this line is moving based off misleading games last week. The Broncos crushed the Lions 38-10, but they only outgained the Lions by 42 yards. That game was much closer than the final score and the Lions were missing a ton of players due to injuries and COVID. The Bengals only lost to the 49ers in OT despite 2 muffed punts and some untimely penalties and drops. They deserved to win that game but beat themselves. The Bengals are the better of these 2 teams and should not be catching 3 points. The underdog is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 matchups. The Bengals are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 visits to Denver. Take Cincinnati.

The Denver Broncos tend to do better against the spread as underdogs rather than favorites, and this is a potential flat spot after blowing the doors off Detroit last week. The Broncos are only 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 games following a straight-up win of more than 14 points, and in this one they'll face a Cincinnati team that is looking to bounce back from a pair of losses.
Denver's defense is giving up 4.4 yards per carry, and I think Cincy running back Joe Mixon is in for a big game.
Bengals are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The underdog is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 meetings.

I think we are getting a pretty good price here on Kansas State as a mere pick'em on the road against Nebraska. It's been a disappointing start to the 2021-22 season for the Cornhuskers, who are just 5-6 and riding a 4-game losing streak. Nebraska has went from starting the season ranked No. 81 at KenPom to No. 123.
Usually this would be a spot where I would consider taking a team like Nebraska, playing at home off a bad stretch against what looks like a similar skilled opponent. The problem is, I think this K-State team is better than people realize.
The Wildcats are 6-3 and their only 3 losses have come against Arkansas, Illinois and Marquette, all by 8 points or fewer. K-State really needs this game for their tournament resume.
Nebraska's head coach Fred Hoiberg has decided to change some things over their 8-day layoff leading up to this game and he himself said it might not look good to start. Cornhuskers may also have to play this game without big man Derrick Walker, who is their big anchor defensively in the middle.
I just don't think that Nebraska offense, which ranks 232nd in Effective FG% is going to be able to do enough against a K-State defense that ranks No. 21 in that category on the other side of the ball. Give me Kansas State PK!

Sunday's Free NFL Pick is on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a 11-point home favorite against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday Night Football. I just don't see how the Saints can keep this close with Taysom Hill at quarterback. Hill is a below average passer. What makes him able to play is his legs, but that's not going to work against this great defensive front of the Bucs, especially with a banged up o-line and no real threat at wide receiver or tight end. You also got Tom Brady and the Bucs out for revenge from a loss at New Orleans earlier this year. Tampa also wants that No. 1 seed in the NFC, so there's no games off for them down the stretch. Bet the Buccaneers -11!
