This looks like a good spot for the Utah Jazz to get back on track in blowout fashion tonight. They have been upset in two straight games by the Spurs and Wizards in a back-to-back situation. They had won eight straight prior to those two defeats.
Now the Jazz are rested having yesterday off and stay in Salt Lake City for this showdown against the Charlotte Hornets. It's a terrible spot for the Hornets, who will be playing the 2nd of a back-to-back and their 5th road game in 8 days. They will also have to deal with the altitude in Utah tonight.
It has been a rough start to this six-game road trip for the Hornets. They lost by 24 in San Antonio, by 9 in Portland and by 31 in Phoenix. Things aren't going to go much better for them tonight against this motivated, rested Jazz team.
The Hornets are 5-12 ATS in their last 17 road games. Charlotte is 9-21 ATS in its last 30 games as a road underdog. The Hornets are 5-14-1 ATS in their last 20 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Charlotte is 2-11-1 ATS in its last 14 trips to Salt Lake City.
