NFL | 49ers vs Titans
Play on: Titans +3 -105 at linepros
1* Free Sharp Play on Titans +3 -105
The Titans (+3) are worth a look catching a field goal at home against the 49ers. I think the wrong team is favored in this game. Tennessee might not be a Super Bowl contender without Henry, but they are still a good team that is very well coached and tough to beat at home. Titans also get back a big piece in their offense in AJ Brown. Play Tennessee +3!

NBA | Wolves vs Jazz
Play on: Wolves +12 -103 at pinnacle
Jack's Free Pick Thursday: Minnesota Timberwolves +12
The Minnesota Timberwolves have gone 4-1 SU & 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall with three upset victories over the Blazers, Nuggets and Lakers by a combined 40 points. Having De'Angelo Russell back healthy makes all the difference for this team.
The Timberwolves didn't have Russell when they lost 104-136 at home to the Jazz on December 8th earlier this month. Now they'll be out for revenge, and they are catching too many points here against a Utah Jazz team that has struggled of late.
The Jazz are 1-2 SU & 0-3 ATS in their last three games overall. They were upset as 11.5-point home favorites by the Spurs and as 9.5-point home favorites by the Wizards. They also failed to cover in a 10-point win as 12.5-point home favorites against a Charlotte Hornets team that was playing the 2nd of a back-to-back.
The Timberwolves are 3-1 SU & 3-1 ATS in their last four meetings with the Jazz, winning outright as 9-point underdogs or higher three times. Utah is 1-4 ATS in its last five home games. The Jazz are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. Bet the Timberwolves Thursday.

NBA | Thunder vs Suns
Play on: Thunder +15 -109 at pinnacle
Dave's Thursday Free Play:
1* on Oklahoma City Thunder +15 The Key: The Oklahoma City Thunder are playing for a 2nd consecutive day. But this line has been adjusted too much for it. The Thunder have 2 days in a row off after this and can still give a good enough effort here to stay within this big number. The Thunder are 5-3 SU & 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall with all 5 victories coming in upset fashion. They beat the Nuggets by 14 yesterday and led by 22 entering the 4th which allowed their starters to rest. They should still be pretty fresh for this game against the Suns. Phoenix could be looking ahead to its showdown with Golden State on Christmas Day as well. The Thunder are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 road games. The Thunder are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 matchups with the Suns. Take Oklahoma City.

FRANK’S CUTTING ROOM FLOOR FOR THURSDAY, 12/23:
My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut for Thursday was with the Denver Nuggets minus the points versus the Charlotte Hornets. Neither of these teams have been hit by COVID absences — so the team trends that can identify the respective personalities of both teams remains reliable evidence. Denver (15-15) has lost two of their last three games after their 108084 loss at Oklahoma City as a 6-point favorite last night. The Nuggets have covered the point spread in 4 straight games after a loss by double-digits. Denver has also covered the point spread in 4 of their last 5 home games against teams with a losing record on the road. Charlotte (16-17) has lost three in a row with their 112-102 loss at Utah as a 12.5-point underdog on Monday. The Hornets have failed to cover the point spread in 21 of their last 31 road games as an underdog — and they have failed to cover the point spread in 7 of their last 10 road games when an underdog getting up to six points. Take Denver minus the points. Best of luck — Frank.

NBA | Thunder vs Suns
Play on: Suns -14½ -110 at Mirage
Thursday NBA Free play. My selection is on Phoenix minus the points over Oklahoma City at 9:10 pm et on Thursday.
We won with the Suns two nights ago in their rout of the Lakers and I'll go back to the well with them again on Thursday as they return home to host the Thunder. Oklahoma City has reeled off three straight wins, including an upset victory over the Nuggets last night. The streak ends here, however, as the Thunder hit the road where they average less than 97 points per game this season. Note that the Suns have been an excellent 'positive momentum' play, going 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games following a double-digit win over a division opponent and 14-4 ATS in their last 18 contests off consecutive victories by 10 points or more, as is the case here. The Thunder have been winning on the strength of their defense but here they'll run into a Suns squad that is back at full strength with Devin Booker returning two games back, and firing on all cylinders having scored 111, 118, 137 and 108 points over their last four games. Take Phoenix.

NBA | Grizzlies vs Warriors
Play on: UNDER 216½ -110
Mike Lundin's Grizzlies vs Warriors Free Pick December 23, 2021
The Golden State Warriors are holding opponents to an NBA-best 101.0 points per game and they are 21-9-1 to the under on the season. The Memphis Grizzlies have scored only 100 and 99 points in their last two games.
We saw only 205 points scored when these two teams clashed back in October, despite the game going to overtime.
Under is 5-1 in Grizzlies last 6 games as an underdog. Under is 5-1-1 in Warriors last 7 games as a home favorite. Under is 21-7 in the last 28 meetings. Under is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings in San Francisco. Free pick on UNDER.

NBA | Spurs vs Lakers
Play on: Spurs +1½ -105 at pinnacle
My free play is on the SA Spurs at 10:40 ET.
The 12-18 Spurs will wrap up a four-game road trip by taking on the 16-16 Lakers tonight at Staples Center. San Antonio opened the trip with a win in Utah but then lost at Sacramento. The Spurs came to LA on Sunday, ahead of their impressive 116-92 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday. They have stuck around with two free days in Los Angeles to work on a game plan for the Lakers, even getting a chance to see their opponent play Tuesday. What SA saw was an LA team plagued by a key injury to A.D, (23.3 & 7.9) as well as COVID-19 absences, The Lakers were without head coach Frank Vogel, who joined players Kent Bazemore, Malik Monk, Avery Bradley and Austin Reaves in COVID protocols.
The Spurs looked great vs the Clippers, putting up 114 shots (made a modest 50) but grabbed 23 of their 66 rebounds on the offensive end. Dejounte Murray (24-11-13) finished with his third triple-double in his last five games. Murray (18.1-8.4-8.6) leads the Spurs in both points and assists, while averaging 10.4 assists per game over his last five contests. SF Johnson (15.0 & 6.5), guard White (14.1 & 5.0 APG), center Poeltl (12.2 & 8.7), SF McDermott (11.3), guard Walker (11.0) and guard Vassell (11.0 & 3.9) give San Antonio SEVEN double digit scorers.
Under the current circumstances, the Lakers can only 'dream' about that kind of depth. LeBron James (26.4-6.6-6.6) went down in the third quarter of Tuesday's game with an ankle injury. He remained in the game and said he intends to play Thursday but is listed as questionable. James has tried to be the all-everything the Lakers need right now, but try as he might, the team is on a three-game losing streak. With Davis out the past two games, James has averaged 32.5 points and 10.5 rebounds to no avail. Talen Horton-Tucker (10.8 & 4.4) and Dwight Howard ( 5.0 & 5.4) returned from protocols vs the Suns. Horton-Tucker had just three points against the Suns on a rusty 1-of-13 shooting (0 of 8 on three-pointers), while Howard had 5 & 4. New arrival Isaiah Thomas (in his third game with LA) also had a rough night, scoring three points on 1-of-11 shooting from the floor and 0 of 6 from three-point range.
The Spurs should play with confidence here and if they can't beat the injured and protocol-depleted Lakers here, then just when would they be able to do so?
Good luck...Larry
