This will be the 2nd meeting between the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots in the month of December. The Patriots won the first meeting 14-10 on December 6th in Buffalo for just 24 combined points. Familiarity favors defense, especially in the 2nd meeting of these divisional matchups.
These are two of the best defenses in the NFL. The Bills rank 1st in total defense at 287.9 yards per game and 3rd in scoring defense at 17.4 points per game. The Patriots rank 3rd in total defense at 307.5 yards per game and 1st in scoring defense at 16.2 points per game.
Both offenses will be hampered by injuries at the receiver position. The Bills will be without both WR's Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis. The Patriots will be without WR Nelson Agholor and could be without N'Keal Harry. This game will likely be played mostly on the ground similar to that first meeting.
The UNDER is 5-2 in the last seven meetings. The UNDER is 5-2 in the last seven meetings in New England. The UNDER is 6-0 in Patriots last six December games. I think most people are going to want to back the Bucs and Brady here in a so called bounce back spot. No one wants anything to do with the Panthers as Cam has been horrible. Well, Sam Darnold is back this week and he can actually move the ball down the field which is a major major upgrade. Bucs are without so many players right now and I'm not sure how you can back them laying double digits in this spot. I think Carolina is prime here for a very close game.

They currently rank dead last in the NFL in Football Outsiders DVOA which is 3 spots BELOW this Detroit team. The Lions are playing much better winning 2 of their last 3 games, with both wins coming vs solid competition (Arizona & Minnesota). The Falcons have 6 wins on the season and all 6 have come by 8 points or less. They don’t beat teams badly no matter what the competition. Detroit has been much more competitive the 2nd half of the season with 6 of their last 8 games being 1 score games with under 1:00 minute to play. Four of their last five road games have been tight losing by margins of 2, 3, tied @ Pitt, and 9 points @ LA Rams in a game the Lions led in the 4th quarter. Despite only 2 wins for Detroit and 6 wins for Atlanta, the Lions have a better point differential on the season. If the Falcons do with this game, which we’re not convinced they will, it should be very close.

This is just too many points for the Chargers to be laying. Not only is this a brutal spot for LA, they like a lot of team, have all kinds of guys out because of COVID.
It would have been tough for the Chargers to bounce back here if they were full strength. Last week's loss to the Chiefs was essentially for the division. LA is going to be a Wild Card and really don't have a ton to play for these final three weeks.
With it being Christmas and all the guys they got out, would it really be that big of a shocker if they lost outright on the road here? I don't think so. Give me the Texans +10!

The Indiana Pacers missed the postseason with a 34-38 record last year, after playing in NINE of the previous 10. The Pacers opened 1-6 and will enter this Christmas Day game in Chicago at 14-19, two games out of the "Play In" cut line. The Bulls were 31-41 last season, missing the postseason for the FOURTH consecutive year. However, the Bulls have reinvented themselves as a threat in the Eastern Conference behind Zach LaVine and the free-agent signing of DeMar DeRozan. They also picked up center Nikola Vucevic from Orlando last season (where his talents were wasted) plus added Lonzo Ball as a free agent. Like many other teams in recent weeks, the Bulls have had severe COVID issues but still enter this contest 19-10, battling 22-13 Milwaukee for the Central Division lead. The Bulls currently hold down the No. 2 seed in the East.
When healthy, the Pacers have a strong five-man rotation, as all players average in double digits. PG Brogdon (19.0-5.3-6.1) leads the way, followed by PF Sabonis (18.1-11.6-4.2). SG LeVert (16.7), center Turner (13.4 & 7.5) and 6-5 rookie Duarte (13.2 & 4.1) comprise that group. The issue for Indiana for tonight's game is the Pacers are hoping that PG Malcolm Brogdon (right achilles) and forward Domantas Sabonis (right calf) will be back in the lineup. Both are listed as day-to-day after missing Thursday's 118-106 win over the Houston Rockets. Center Myles Turner, who has 17 blocks over his past five games, contributed 32 points and 10 rebounds in 37 minutes against the Rockets. The Pacers also received a boost from Caris LeVert, who filled in for Brogdon at point guard and tallied 24 points and 11 assists.
There were 'whispers' that the 32-year-old DeMar DeRozan was on the downside of his career but he's been one of the best players in the NBA so far this season, averaging 26.8-5.2-4.2. He has energized the Chicago Bulls, along with LaVine (26.0-5.3-4.2), Vucevic (15.5 & 10.4) and Ball (13.2-5.4-5.0). DeRozan missed three games due to the NBA's COVID protocols before scoring 38 points in last Sunday's 115-110 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. He then scored 26 in a 133-118 victory over the Houston Rockets on Monday. Cautious optimism has the Bulls hoping the worst of the team's COVID outbreak is behind them. In fact, Sunday's game will mark the first time Chicago has had center Nikola Vucevic, forward DeMar DeRozan and guard Zach LaVine available at the same time in more than THREE weeks.
The Bulls will surely remember the Pacers beating them 109-77 in Chicago back on Nov 22, meaning Chicago has lost its last SIX home games against Indiana Enough is ENOUGH! Lay the points.

Your Sunday NFL Free Pick will be on the UNDER between Washington and Dallas. I don't think we see much different than 2 weeks ago. WFT offense was non existent the first half. I think we see that for most of the game this afternoon. You put up 17-20-17-17, I am not expecting a huge output today. And the defense does the job. Heck - they had a pair of back to back 17-15 wins. Dallas offense has slowed a bunch since the start of the year. We have 2 good outputs since vs Vegas and Atlanta. I think we see the team that has put up 21-27-27-19 in recent weeks. Cowboys defense is playing good and gets very good against bad offenses. And this is a bad offense. Take the UNDER and Be A Winner.

Friar’s Road is 2 for 11 and has finished 1st, 3rd, 3rd in his previous three attempts. He beat Luvluv by 4 ¼ lengths for a $72,000 purse on August 28.

Following that win, Friar’s Road jumped up to the graded scene and did well, but needed more for a win. He showed 3rd on October 2 in the $200,000 John Henry Turf Championship Stakes (Gr. 2).

Friar’s Road showed 3rd on November 26 at Del Mar in the $250,000 Hollywood Turf Cup Stakes (Gr. 2) most recently.

Hit the Road should put a tough race together. The colt has appeared in five straight graded races, most recently the $200,000 City of Hope Mile Stakes (Gr. 2) for 3rd.

He most recently won back in March in the $400,000 Frank E. Kilroe Mile by a neck. That was impressive but hasn’t been back to the winner’s circle.

I can see him getting it done and getting back to that form versus this field on Sunday.

Express Train is 4 for 14 in his career and should have a chance in the San Antonio. He’s finished 3rd, 3rd, 1st, 6th, 3rd in his previous five attempts.

Express Train beat Tripoli by a half-length in the $250,000 San Diego Handicap (Gr. 2) on July 17 at Del Mar.

Since then, Express Train finished 6th in the $1,000,000 TVG Pacific Classic Stakes (Gr. 1) and 3rd in the $300,000 Awesome Again Stakes.

Hot Rod Charlie is well-known for his appearances in some of the biggest races in the US. He’s been in the Breeders’ Cup Classic, Kentucky Derby, Belmont Stakes, Louisana Derby, and Haskall Stakes.

Hot Rod Charlie has won his last three attempts, with a win two races back on September 25 in the $1,000,000 Pennsylvania Derby (Gr. 1) by 2 ¼ lengths.

In his last attempt, Hot Rod Charlie finished 4th in the Breeders’ Cup Classic on November 6. That was tough. Down to $200,000, expect Hot Rod Charlie to be the best in this field.

Missy P. has finished 1st, 2nd, 5th in three assignments. She opened well with a 9 ½ length win on March 12 for $61,000.

Following that solid race, Missy P. placed 2nd behind Astute by 2 ¼ lengths for a $75,000 purse on May 1. In her most recent attempt, she was 5th in the $75,000 Desert Code stakes on June 6.

Private Mission has finished 1st, 4th, 1st, 1st, 1st, 11th in her career for Bob Baffert. In her latest win, Private Mission beat As Time Goes By by 2 ¼ lengths in the $200,000 Zenyatta Stakes (Gr. 2) on October 3.

She was unable to keep going that well in the Breeders’ Cup Distaff (Gr. 1) on November 6. Private Mission fell to 11th after winning back-to-back events in the $100,000 Torrey Pine Stakes (Gr. 3) and the Zenyatta Stakes.

Baffert should have a winner in Private Mission after dropping her in class. This looks like a good spot for Private Mission to get a win.
