Tuesday NHL Free play. My selection is on the 'over' between Montreal and Tampa Bay at 7:05 pm et on Tuesday.
With the Lightning likely missing their top two goaltenders due to Covid protocols, this one sets up as a relatively high-scoring affair between the offensively-challenged Canadiens and the red hot Bolts. The Habs average just 2.2 goals per game on the road this season but should come out aggressively as they look to push the undermanned Lightning on Tuesday. On the flip side, Montreal is giving up just shy of 4.0 goals per contest away from home and doesn't figure to contain Tampa's offense here, noting that the Lightning went into the break on a high note after recording a 4-3 win in Las Vegas. Tampa checks in averaging 3.1 goals per game on home ice this season but figures to top that number against a Montreal squad that has given up 4.5 goals per game when coming off a win this season, as is the case here. On a positive note for Montreal, Tampa Bay has given up 3.0 goals on average the last 36 times it has come off six or seven wins in its last eight contests - a situation that sets up here. Take the over.

This team has been dominant when Giannis, Middleton and Holliday have been on the floor at the same time. But they have everyone but Brook Lopez healthy now. They should roll a Orlando Magic team that is in the midst of a terrible COVID outbreak with 13 players on the injury report. They will be without Cole Anthony and Mo Bamba among others. The Bucks are 9-0 in their last nine meetings with the Magic with all nine wins coming by 9 points or more and by an average of 18.8 points per game. Give me the Bucks.

The Raptors are dealing with a seriously depleted lineup. That led to a 45-point loss in their last game. They're still going to be very short-handed for this one and scoring figures to again be an issue. However, the well-coached team should at least bounce back with a better effort on defense. Note that the 'under' is 4-0 the past four times that the Raptors failed to cover the spread in their previous game. The 76'ers have kept each of their last two opponents from reaching "triple-digits." Consider the Under.

This is just too good a price to pass up with the Knicks, as they travel to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves Tuesday night. While it might seem like a bad idea to bet against Minnesota as a home dog, given they have gone 5-2 SU and 6-1 ATS over their last 7 games.
The big thing for me is the spot, as well as the number of guys that are in quarantine for the Timberwolves. Minnesota will be on no rest after last night's game against the Celtics. While they could get some guys back (several listed as questionable), it just doesn't seem like the guys coming back are struggling with conditioning.
While the Knicks are also dealing with Covid in their locker room, they are in much better shape. Their only starter out is Nerlens Noel and I'm not sure there's any drop off from Noel to backups Mitch Robinson and Taj Gibson.
I also think this is a motivated Knicks team, who desperately needs to get things turned around after going just 4-9 over their last 13 games. Give me New York -4.5!

Typical St. Mary's team again this season. The Gaels are strong defensively and methodical on offense.
St. Mary's gives up the 14th fewest points in the country. Yale isn't much of an offensive challenge. The Bulldogs rank 221st in scoring. They are one of the worst offensive rebounding teams in the nation. Oh, yes, the Bulldogs last played two weeks ago when they were held to 60 points by Monmouth, a team that gives up nearly nine more points per game than St. Mary's.
The Gaels could be rusty, too, since they played six days ago. This is just their third game in 11 days.
The Under has cashed in seven of St. Mary's last nine games. The Under also is 10-3 the past 13 times Yale has been a road 'dog.
