This will be Bruins' goaltender Rask's second game back, and it appears he took up right where he left off all those months ago. That was against a very depleted Flyers team. Tonight, against the 6th rated Hurricanes' offense will be the real test. 'Canes goalie Andersen looked sharp last game but that was against the low-scoring Canucks. He and the Hurricanes have been giving up more goals than usual lately, while scoring 4 or more. The Bruins have won 5 in a row, averaging almost five goals-for a game in that time. The total is set at 5.5, reflecting the reputations of two good goaltenders, and two solid defenses, however the reality has been and still is high-scoring games since the break. Take the Hurricanes and Bruins to go over the total.

It's a great time to 'sell high' on the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers tonight. They have won nine straight coming in, but each of their last five wins came by 11 points or less. They needed OT to beat Bradley as a 13.5-point home favorite, needed OT to beat Valpo as a 15.5-point home favorite and needed a 15-point comeback to beat Indiana State by 8 as an 8-point road favorite in their last three games overall.
Evansville is just 4-11 this season but has been competitive at home in conference play. The Purple Aces only lost to Southern Illinois by 2 as 2-point underdogs and to Drake by 1. They can hang with the Ramblers, who aren't nearly as good as their 13-2 record and Top 25 ranking would indicate.
Evansville is 4-4 SU in its last eight home meetings with Loyola-Chicago with all four losses coming by 10 points or less. The underdog is 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings. The Purple Aces are 23-8 ATS in their last 31 home games following five straight games where they committed 14 or fewer turnovers. Bet Evansville Tuesday.

Not quite sure how Northwestern is getting so much love here. Sure the Wildcats beat Michigan State in its last game but the Cats also lost their for games before that. The Badgers have won six straight and 12 of 13 playing the 5th toughest schedule (out of 357 Div-I teams) despite being just No.290 in experience. This tells me that this Badger outfit is far more talented than previous editions and will get better battling through the rigorous Big Ten conference. Wisky is 8-2 vs. the Top 100 and scored just 55 and 58 points in their losses but, despite Northwestern playing a grinding slowdown style, they'll ultimately be steamrolled by the more talented Badgers.

Duke is starting to regain its elite form after not playing from Dec. 23-Jan. 3. This will be the Blue Devils' fifth game since then - and toughest matchup.
Mike Krzyewski says his Blue Devils are not yet in peak physical shape. Florida State has a huge front line , makes nearly 35 percent of its 3-point shots and can force turnovers. These things are all needed to upset Duke. Florida State has them. So this is a dangerous matchup for Duke. The Blue Devils also are playing outside of North Carolina for the first time since November.
Florida State is likely to be without Malik Osborne. He missed the Seminoles' victory at Syracuse this past Saturday because of an ankle injury. Osborne is the Seminoles' top rebounder and second-leading scorer. Florida State has a deep bench, though. Its reserves outscored Syracuse's, 29-4.
The Seminoles are 14-1 in their last 15 home games, including 6-1 this season. Duke is 5-11 ATS the past 16 times when playing on the road against an opponent with a winning home mark. This also has been an underdog series with the 'dog covering four of the past five times.

The Panthers are riding an incredible run right now, having scored five goals or more in seven of their last eight games. The 'over' has cashed in each of their last nine games. I look for that streak to come to an end on Tuesday, however. It's worth noting that nine of the Panthers last 11 games have been played at home, where they average well north of 4.0 goals per game. They're actually just 5-9 on the road, where they average 3.1 goals per contest. Here, they'll be facing a Flames squad that allows only 2.6 goals per game on home ice. Calgary has scored a grand total of just seven goals over its last four contests. In its most recent game it could only muster one goal against one of the league's worst defensive teams in the Senators, at home no less. Here, we'll note that the 'under' is 9-1 the last 10 times the Panthers have come off six or more consecutive 'over' results, which is obviously the case here, resulting in an average total of just 4.7 goals. The 'under' is also 10-2 the last 12 times the Flames have come off four consecutive games in which they allowed three goals or more with that spot producing an average total of 5.0 goals. Take the under.

Klay Thompson is getting better with each game since returning from injury, and the Warriors are a potent offensive team in their current form. They should hang a big number on the Detroit Pistons tonight to lead the way in cashing this OVER 218.5. The Pistons have topped 100 points in 12 of their last 17 games and can do their part as well. Three of their last four games have resulted in 242, 220 and 243 combined points. They have allowed 118 or more in five of their last seven games. The OVER is 4-1 in the last five meetings at Golden State. Give me the OVER.
