Yes, Dallas played just last night, beating Toronto by a score of 102-98, but I believe it'll have more than enough gas in the tank to defend its home floor against the Suns. Phoenix is off a 121-107 win at San Antonio, but Dallas plays with revenge here after falling 112-104 in Phoenix back in early November (note that the Mavs are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 in trying to revenge a road loss against an opponent in which they were held to 105 or less points in.) At the very least, I expect this one to be decided in the closing moments; consider the Mavericks on Thursday night!

The 25th-ranked UConn Huskies jumped out to a 39-24 halftime lead Tuesday night at home and cruised to a 76-59 win over the Butler Bulldogs. It was a makeup of a game postponed from Jan 1 because of COVID-19 issues in the Huskies program. The two schools meet again tonight, this time at the famed Hinkle Fieldhouse, Butler's home court. UConn is 12-4 (3-2 in the Big East), while Butler checks in at 9-8 overall, including 2-4 in Big East play.

Dan Hurley (of the famed 'Coaching Hurleys") got the Huskies into the NCAA tourney last season for the first time since 2016. James Boouknight (18.7) is gone from last year's team but UConn has a deep group this season, including three players averaging in double digits. The leading scorer is senior guard Cole (16.4-3.7-48) and he's joined by the 6-9 Sanogo (15.7 & 8.4) and another senior guard, Martin (13.1 & 6.7). Joining those three in the starting lineup are 6-6 guard Jackson (7.9 & 7.8) and the 6-9 Whaley (6.7 & 4.6). The 6-9 Polley (9.1 & 2.3), guard Hawkins (6.7) and the 6-9 Akok (4.5 & 4.3) to give UConn a deep bench.

The Bulldogs are coming off an 'ugly' 10-15 season and will struggle to be too much better than .500 this season. The team has just one player that scores in double digits and that's freshman guard Taylor (10.2). He's joined in the backcourt by Bolden (9.1) and PG Thompson (7.3 & 3.8 APG). Butler does have two solid senior forwards in the 6-9 Golden (9.3 & 4.0) and the 6-6 Nze (8.5 & 5.6).

No one would argue against UConn being the better team but how easy would 'picking winners' be if that was all there was to it. With the two teams playing back-to-back games from Tue-Thu, Butler head coach LaVall Jordan had a question for UConn coach Dan Hurley before their teams started a home-and-home series Tuesday night. "I asked Danny if they wanted to hop in the plane with us, but he turned that down," Jordan joked. Hinkle Fieldhouse is a tough venue for visiting teams and in this quick 'revenge/turnaround' situation, I'm 'barking' with the home dog. Take the points!

This is more of a play against BYU than it is a play on San Diego. This is a terrible spot for the Cougars. They are coming off three straight games against the three best teams in WCC in St. Mary's, Gonzaga and San Francisco. They will have a hard time getting up for San Diego after playing those three teams.
That's going to make it hard for the Cougars to cover this massive 16-point spread against the Toreros. San Diego has gone 6-2 SU in its last eight games overall with one of those losses coming at San Francisco by 15 as 17.5-point dogs. I think they can stay within 16 of BYU as well here given the spot.
Plays against favorites of 10 or more points (BYU) - off an upset win as an underdog against an opponent that is off two or more consecutive home wins are 28-6 (82.4%) ATS over the last five seasons. Bet San Diego Thursday.

There are worse things to do than go against Idaho. The Vandals are 3-13 on the season and mired in a five-game losing streak.
The price is fair to back 8-8 Northern Colorado. The Bears have covered five in a row against Idaho.
Northern Colorado ranks in the top 100 in scoring, while the Vandals have the worst defenses in the country ranking 352nd in scoring giving up 81.5 points a game and rating 348th in defensive field goal percentage.
The Bears surely won't be taking Idaho lightly after their two-game win streak was ended at home by Sacramento State, an 11-point road 'dog. The Bears have had 12 days to stew about that embarrassment.
