Monday's Free NBA Pick is on the Houston Rockets as a 14.5-point road dog against the Utah Jazz. I like the Rockets to at the very least make a game of it. I know Utah could be getting back Rudy Gobert, but he's surely going to be on a minutes restriction. No way the Jazz want to risk him reaggravating that injury with just this game and a matchup at the Lakers on Wednesday before the All-Star break. Wouldn't shock me if he doesn't play.
Either way, I like the Rockets to compete in this one. Utah was able to win and cover as a big 13.5-point favorite in their last game against the Magic, but keep in mind they went into the 4th quarter of that game only leading Orlando by a mere 3-points. Even with that cover the Jazz are just 2-9 ATS last 11 games when laying double-digits. Bet the Rockets +14.5!
