There is plenty of racing for a Wednesday on this card. The BetOnline racebook will have at least nine racecourses under the thoroughbred section.
Industry Leading 9% Cashback!
I believe Louisana Downs has a quarter horse meet ongoing at the moment, while you can find harness racing on Wednesday evening as well. We have another 50-20-10-5 Kentucky Derby prep race coming up this weekend.
The Rebel Stakes (Gr. 1) carries a million-dollar purse and is going to attract some heavy hitters to Oaklawn Park in Arkansas on Saturday. We’ll be at Oaklawn Park for the big day this weekend.
For Wednesday, we’re landing at Tampa Bay Downs and Turfway Park. Turfway has a $266,000 card in Kentucky on Wednesday. Head below for our best Turfway Park picks for February 23, 2022.

The third race at Turfway Park is an $18,000 event covering a mile on the all-weather track. Look for Sea Lane and Order of the Day to carry themselves well in this one.
Sea Lane could have a good value at post time here. The No. 1 is winless in two attempts, but should find this one doable.
Sea Lane most recently finished 5th and showed improvement from 8th as a rookie. He was 5th on February 12 in an $18,000 race after 8th on December 16 for a $43,000 prize.
Order of the Day is winless in six attempts, but seeing a nice drop in grade today. After finishing 10th in his most recent race on February 11 in a $29,000 event, Order of the Day is down to $18,000 for the easiest assignment of his career.
He was 7th for a $29,000 prize on January 14 before his most recent loss. For a $18,000 event on Wednesday, Order of the Day should bode well versus this field.

Post Time: 8:46 p.m. EST
Distance: 1 ¼ Miles
Purse:$64,000
Race 6 carries a $64,000 purse over 1 ¼ miles on the all-weather track. Look at Peekacho and Warbird to have a good chance to win.
Peekacho is 14 for 53 and has finished 6th, 5th, 5th in his previous three races. He most recently went 5th on February 10 for a $66,000 purse.
This was after the same in a $68,000 race on December 3. This should be more manageable for Peeacho and he’s getting good value on Wednesday.
Warbird has a win in nine career starts and 1st, 3rd, 3rd in his last three. He won a $120,000 race at Churchill Downs on November 4 in impressive fashion.
Warbird showed in his next two outings, showing 3rd for $63,000 on December 26. That could have been better, but Wednesday should yield more success.

Post Time: 9:46 p.m. EST
Distance:1 Mile
Purse:$29,000
Race 8 is a mile for a $29,000 purse on the all-weather track. Quick Master and Succeed should be held in high regard in this one.
Quick Master is winless in four starts, with results of 9th, 3rd, 6th, 2nd. He came on well in his last attempt, placing 2nd behind Noble Jon by ¾ lengths for a $29,000 purse on February 11.
That was an improvement after finishing 6th on January 7 in a $62,000 assignment. The class drop helped plenty. Expect Quick Master to be involved in the stretch run.
Succeed is 4th, 6th, 3rd, 2nd, 9th in his career. He looked good two races back, placing 2nd behind Droppin G’s by a nose for $62,000.
That was a nice shot for Succeed, though it didn’t go so well on February 10. Succeed finished 9th for $62,000 on February 10. Look for Succeed to thrive down this far in class.
