Turfway Park Selections for February 23, 2022 – Horse Racing Picks
There is plenty of racing for a Wednesday on this card. The BetOnline racebook will have at least nine racecourses under the thoroughbred section.

I believe Louisana Downs has a quarter horse meet ongoing at the moment, while you can find harness racing on Wednesday evening as well. We have another 50-20-10-5 Kentucky Derby prep race coming up this weekend.
The Rebel Stakes (Gr. 1) carries a million-dollar purse and is going to attract some heavy hitters to Oaklawn Park in Arkansas on Saturday. We’ll be at Oaklawn Park for the big day this weekend.

Sea Lane could have a good value at post time here. The No. 1 is winless in two attempts, but should find this one doable.
Sea Lane most recently finished 5th and showed improvement from 8th as a rookie. He was 5th on February 12 in an $18,000 race after 8th on December 16 for a $43,000 prize.
Order of the Day is winless in six attempts, but seeing a nice drop in grade today. After finishing 10th in his most recent race on February 11 in a $29,000 event, Order of the Day is down to $18,000 for the easiest assignment of his career.
He was 7th for a $29,000 prize on January 14 before his most recent loss. For a $18,000 event on Wednesday, Order of the Day should bode well versus this field.

That was an improvement after finishing 6th on January 7 in a $62,000 assignment. The class drop helped plenty. Expect Quick Master to be involved in the stretch run.
