NBA | 76ers vs Wolves
Play on: Wolves +3 -110 at Caesars
1 Unit FREE PLAY on Minnesota Timberwolves +3
The Minnesota Timberwolves are playing some of the best basketball in the NBA right now. They have gone 16-8 in their last 24 games overall and are coming off a win over the Memphis Grizzlies, who are also playing some of the best basketball in the NBA. I'm not concerned about the Timberwolves having to play the second of a back-to-back because they are a deep, young team and just had the All-Star Break to rest. The 76ers are getting some love here because James Harden is supposed to make his debut. I think this will hurt them before it helps them as it will take time for Harden to form chemistry with his new team. The Timberwolves have all kinds of chemistry right now and should not be home underdogs to the 76ers. Philadelphia is 0-7 ATS in its last seven games off an ATS win. Minnesota is 6-1-1 ATS in its last eight home games. Give me the Timberwolves.

NBA | 76ers vs Wolves
Play on: 76ers -2½ -110 at Mirage
1* NBA - 76ers/Wolves FREE PICK on 76ers -2.5
Friday's Free NBA Pick is on the Philadelphia 76ers as a 2.5-point road favorite against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Minnesota is coming off a big win at home against the Grizzlies on Thursday, but now are getting way too much respect in the second leg of a back-to-back against a rested 76ers team playing their first game out of the break. Philly is also expected to debut James Harden for the first time since making the big trade with the Nets. With or without Harden, the way Embiid is playing this price is too good to pass up. Bet the 76ers -2.5!

NCAA-B | Texas State vs Troy State
Play on: Troy State +2 -110 at William Hill
Texas State has clinched the Sun Belt Conference. So this game essentially is meaningless for the Bobcats because they will be the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament whether they win or lose this game.
It's a much bigger game for Troy. The Trojans still can finish second in the conference entering the tournament. Troy is home and has more motivation.
The Trojans certainly are capable of beating Texas State. They proved that in the first meeting. The Trojans won, 78-63, as a six-point road 'dog Dec. 30.
Troy has covered seven of the last nine times as a home 'dog.
