Saturday's Free NBA Pick is on the Chicago Bulls as a 5-point home favorite against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Easy play on Chicago for me. Cleveland is in the second leg of a back-to-back after losing and failing to cover in a 105-117 loss at Miami last night. Cavs are just not in a good spot right now with two of their best players sidelined in Caris LeVert and Jarrett Allen. Even with LaVine questionable to play for Chicago, I still think the Bulls will make easy work of Cleveland at home. Bet Chicago -5!

I'll take my chances with Virginia Tech as a 6.5-point dog against Duke in the title game of the ACC Tournament. I've bet against the Hokies in each of their last two games against Notre Dame and North Carolina and paid the price. I won't make the same mistake again.
Virginia Tech came into the ACC Tournament needing to make a deep run just to have a shot at making the NCAA Tournament. While it feels like they have done enough to get in, a lot of bracket experts still have them on the bubble. The Hokies can put all the suspense behind them by just winning this game and getting an automatic bid.
I think they got a great shot of doing just that. Duke has clearly been viewed as the best team in the ACC. While they have managed to get to the title game, they weren't exactly impressive in either of their wins over Syracuse or Miami. They are just 2-6 ATS over their last 8 games and I just feel like they are once again getting too much respect. Give me the Hokies +6.5!

Saturday NBA Free play. My selection is on Utah minus the points over Sacramento at 9:10 pm et on Saturday.
While the Jazz will be playing the second of back-to-backs and the Kings have been idle since Wednesday, I still see this as a smash spot for Utah. Sacramento continues to get lit up on a nightly basis, allowing six straight opponents to knock down 40+ field goals despite four of those opponents settling for 88 or fewer field goal attempts. Offensively, the Kings have made good on 40+ field goals just once over their last five games and don't figure to solve a Utah defense that is locked-in right now, having limited their last four opponents to 39, 39, 29 and 34 made field goals. Should the pace get up there, as it likely will with the total posted in the low-230's, the Jazz should absolutely go off in this one and ultimately pull away for the convincing win and cover. Take Utah.
