This drying ground should suit ideally at Fontwell on Tuesday, and a positive ride from the front would make the most of the 6-y-o’s proven stamina for further.

#2 Vine Jet He should land a great trip while tracking the splits in a race with a few decent forward players who might produce an honest pace. He's fast enough to stay in touch while not getting caught up in any developing battle.
#3 Epic Luck He might be most committed to the front end, and there's a chance he handles these gate to wire, but he's also trying older horses for the first time while racing off the bench. Couple of questions here, but I think he's a threat.
#1 Nimitz He handled a short bunch last time out when bet to 3/5, but I worry that he takes the worst of this from the inside with some good positional pace that leaves him in the mix early on. Capable player.
Race Summary Vine Jet has some pretty reliable finishing ability, and his tactical speed should put him in a great spot behind a couple more committed forward players. Hoping he has another good one in him during this form cycle.

Picks Notes
#1 Kenner He was a good fit with similar last time out when getting back over the local footing, and he might be able to find a cozy trip on the inside while tucking in just behind the sharper pace. Interesting here.
#4 Our Shot He woke up in a big way when getting Lasix for the first time, turning in an impressive score at Aqueduct to graduate. He's a good fit right back here, but I worry he's overbet.
#3 Talented Man He scored a nice pressing win in the two-back run before being in a bit too deep with stakes company last time out. He might get a decent go of things while sitting close to the splits. Mid-range price chance.
Race Summary Kenner might trip out from the inside with a good, forward run, and the presence of Our Shot might help keep the price playable after a really good run with similar last time out.

Picks Notes
#6 Brazen He is so dangerous with his perfect pressing pace that leaves him in great spots right up top, and he should be in line for another good go of things while right back at a level at which he has proven tough.
#5 Forest Fire He's probably in a bit tough here, but I like that he rises in good form off the score last time out, and he should be in line for the kind of trip that gives him a chance to share here if he's good enough.
#2 Sneakiness He has been chasing the top choice in a couple recent starts, and he's a super reliable runner who figures to show up with another good effort here. Not sure today's the day he turns the tables.
Race Summary Brazen should be tough right back, as he has been holding his form for some time and should land another perfect trip. Maybe Forest Fire runs a good one to land the other part of the exacta at a decent price?

SCONE: RACE 4 @ 3:25 PM

YGGDRASIL (8) is yet to put in a bad effort in five career starts and has placed over this mile journey before. Will be nearing her peak now third-up from the spell and is sure to be right there when the whips are cracking. MURRAJONG ROAD (5) was a solid third at Canterbury on debut before just running into one better at Goulburn last time out. The step-up in trip suits and looms as the main danger. GLOBAL ENCOUNTER (3) showed sharp improvement last start and looks one for the multiples. DUKE OF GORDON (1) best of the rest from the inside alley.
SELECTIONS: Yggdrasil to win.

BENALLA: RACE 8 @ 5:00 PM

GREY WHISPER (5) has been far too good winning the last two with the latest as favourite this grade. Keeps the handy 2kg claim and can make the hat-trick. BROADSIDE ARMOUR (6) wasn't beaten far in Open grade and that stacks right up. Was close up this level the two before and is feared. VICI (2) resumes and has been racing at better level. Has the blinkers on first time and has won twice fresh. Gets an awkward gate but keep safe. SHE'S ORIGINAL (10) missed the hat-trick at Sandown off the win there and this is easier. Drawn to advantage her speed and has to be considered.
SELECTIONS: Backing Grey Whisper.

MACKAY: RACE 6 @ 4:04 PM

MOONSHINER (1) resumed at Rockhampton in good order and then was heavily-bet belting the CLB graders at Emerald by 4.5L. Keeps a leading hoop and has more up the sleeve. SONIC ARROW (3) was plain the latest but Rockhampton form prior reads well for this. Has the rail and the top rider takes over. She can bounce. KARBORS (8) just missed here in the 55 and that stacks right up. He's also a winning chance. MAN O' ROSS (2) will be in the mix forgiving the latest.
SELECTIONS: Going with Moonshiner.

The Leafs have been alternating between wins and losses lately. The Bruins have just been winning. The Leafs are 2-2 their last four and 4-4 their past eight. The Bruins, on the other hand, are 4-0 their past four and 7-1 their past eight. While the Leafs are a mediocre 17-15 on the road, the Bruins are a solid 20-12 at home. The Bruins are also a profitable 14-4 in division games. One of the four losses came at Toronto, back in November. Campbell had a big game for the Leafs but he's hurt at the moment. I like the Bruins' chances of avenging that loss this evening and feel that the price is fair. Consider Boston.
