Jack's Free Pick Sunday: Toronto Blue Jays -114
I'll definitely look for any opportunity to back Toronto ace Alek Manoah at close to any money. That's the opportunity afforded to us today against the Tampa Bay Rays, and we'll take advantage.
Manoah went 9-2 with a 3.22 ERA and 1.048 WHIP in 20 starts as a rookie last season. He is proving it was no fluke this season, going 4-0 with a 1.75 ERA and 0.889 WHIP in six starts. Manoah is 3-1 with a 1.46 ERA and 0.892 WHIP in four career starts against the Rays as well.
The Blue Jays are 20-6 in Manoah's 26 starts over the past two seasons. Bet the Blue Jays Sunday.
Sunday's MLB Free Pick: Brewers/Marlins OVER 7
I'll gladly take my chances with the OVER 7 in Sunday's series finale between the Marlins and Brewers. I think both of these teams have a shot at eclipsing this number on their own.
Milwaukee will be starting Brandon Woodruff and I'm not sure the market on him has been adjusted enough. Woodruff was outstanding last year with a 2.56 ERA and 0.96 WHIP (put up similar numbers in 2020). He's not that same guy. At least not yet. Woodruff has a 5.96 ERA and 1.360 WHIP in 6 starts and in his 3 road outings, he's given up 16 ER on 21 hits in just 12 innings of work.
Elisar Hernandez will get the ball for Miami. He's not been much better. Hernandez has a 6.37 ERA and 1.416 WHIP in 6 starts. Brewers offense has struggled the last two, but that was against two of the Marlins' better starters. Give me the OVER 7! Confidence Rating: 6 (Scale of 1-10)

MLB | Brewers vs Marlins
Play on: Brewers -151 at SC Consensus
The Brewers are a top-three National League team. The Brewers are so good because of strong starters, an excellent bullpen and timely hitting.
Miami is bad again this season. I see the Brewers bouncing back from Saturday's loss to the Marlins in a pitching matchup of righties Brandon Woodruff versus Elieser Hernandez.
Woodruff is having a rough first 1 1/2 months with a 5.97 ERA. But he's a quality pitcher and his strikeouts have been there - 33 in his last four starts. The Brewers have their top bullpen arms all fresh.
The Marlins are 3-10 in their last 13 games even with yesterday's victory. They are 1-8 in their last nine games against a righty starter.
I'm surprised the Marlins keep Hernandez in their starting rotation. He has yet to prove he's deserving of that spot. He has a 6.37 ERA this season.
The Brewers are averaging 6.3 runs in their last 11 games. They are 62-30 in their last 92 games versus a righty starter.
Milwaukee has beaten the Marlins seven of the last nine times in Miami.

MLB | Yankees vs White Sox
Play on: White Sox +110 at William Hill
1* Free Sharp Play on White Sox +110
The White Sox (+110) are worth a look as a small home dog against the Yankees in Sunday's MLB action. Chicago was able to snap New York's 5-game win streak with a 3-2 win on Saturday. White Sox are now 8-3 over their last 11. Really good value here with Chicago, as they send out one of their best starters in Michael Kopech. In 6 starts this year, Kopech has a 0.93 ERA and 0.966 WHIP. He's given up 3 ER in 29 innings. Play the White Sox +110!
1 Unit FREE PLAY on Yankees/White Sox UNDER 8
Runs will be at a premium today when Nestor Cortes of the New York Yankees squares off against Michael Kopech of the Chicago White Sox. Cortes is 1-1 with a 1.41 ERA and 0.97 WHIP in six starts this season. Kopech is 0-0 with a 0.93 ERA and 0.97 WHIP in six starts as well. The Yankees are 15-5 UNDER in Cortes' last 20 starts. The UNDER is 8-0 in Yankees last eight games off a loss. Give me the UNDER.
