LONG AND STRONG - This gelding should give a strong account of himself in today's race. CLEAR HUMOR - Delcid's agent must like anytime Bourgeois gives them a mount; win pct together is out of sight. This horse could be tough this time, especially since Delcid rode last race out and now should be acquainted with this one. This gelding was sharp enough to post a 'top two' workout recently. I think he's ready for today's event. Another way to determine class is earnings per race. This entrant has the top in the group. I think he'll be close at the finish.
Vulnerable Contenders: #5 CITIZEN WEST (ML=2/1), #6 SHANGHAI'S DREAM (ML=4/1), #3 OXXON (ML=8/1),
CITIZEN WEST - Hasn't been doing anything at all lately. The speed figure last time out doesn't fit very well in this event when I look at the class figure of today's race. Mark this horse as a likely underpriced equine. SHANGHAI'S DREAM - If you keep choosing these kind of 'bridesmaid' types, you're going to be dissatisfied regularly. This mount hasn't shown too much in the last couple contests. OXXON - Should have at least finished in the money in the last 60 days in a short distance race to be any kind of value at low odds in a sprint.
