The Angels (+103) are worth a look at basically even money at home against the Blue Jays. Toronto is getting a lot of respect here with Alek Manoah on the mound. Guy has pitched great so far. Thing is, Blue Jays are 2-games under .500 on the road and just 2-2 in Manoah's 4 road outings. Toronto has scored a total of 9 runs for him in those 4 starts. I think we have seen enough out of Chase Silseth in his two starts to expect him to pitch well here. Play the Angels +103!

Jon Gray was a disappointment in Colorado and so far he's been a disappointment in Texas with a 5.14 ERA. So maybe it's not just Coors Field why Gray's ERA is above 5.00 for the fourth time in his eight-year big league career.
The A's have a winning road record. But they've been awful at home with a 6-16 record. They drew only 3,203 fans during their 4-1 loss to Texas on Thursday.
I get that. But I want the A's as a home 'dog with Cole Irvin on the mound. The Rangers are 5-16 as road chalk.
Irvin is a crafty lefty. He gives up baserunners, but is hard to score against. His ERA is under 3.00. Irvin has permitted just five earned runs during his last four starts allowing only one homer during this span.

I'll take my chances with the Diamondbacks as a massive +163 home dog against the Dodgers on Friday. LA just took Arizona out back and gave them a whooping on Thursday. The Dodgers beat the Diamondbacks 14-1 yesterday and Arizona was lucky it wasn't worse than that as LA had a staggering 24 hits in the game (left 12 guys on base).
It can be tough to bring the right mindset after a blowout win like that, while the losing team usually comes out the next game with a big chip on their shoulder. Keep in mind Arizona had been playing well. They had won 5 of 6, scoring 38 runs over their previous 5 games.
The other big thing here is the pitching matchup. Dbacks will have Madison Bumgarner on the mound, who has a strong 2.76 ERA and 1.110 WHIP in 9 starts. Bumgarner seems to have worked up his stamina, as he's pitching much deeper in games. Dodgers will go with Ryan Pepiot, who has made 2 starts. He pitched just 3 innings in his first outing and 4 in his second start. Big problem he's having is control, as he's walked 8 guys in those 7 innings of work. Give me the Diamondbacks +163!

This is a play on the ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS for our Friday Free Play. The Dodgers rolled to a 14-1 win on Thursday in the opener of this series as they have maintained a two-game lead over the Padres in the National League West.
