DREWPOWER - With a reliable 82 average speed figure at the distance, seems well suited for today's contest. He has been running solidly recently while recording very solid speed figures.

HIGHTAILING - Hibdon drops her down to this level. You don't need too much more from the pp lines to believe this animal will be tough to beat at this level. You always have to be on the lookout for revenue generating jockey/conditioner duos; we have an instance right here. This mare should run better today now that she's back facing here own gender. EPS (earnings per start) is something that I feel can be an extremely key handicapping aspect. This animal is ranked at the top in this group. GOODNIGHTLOVING - Ecoffey brings her right back. I propose you stick with this strong mare. That 72 fig this mare registered in her last event tells me she's a big time player in today's event. RUNWAY SCORE - This jockey and conditioner have a profitable return on investment when they unite. I like to play this handicapping theory, a thoroughbred coming back off a nice effort within the last 30 days. I think that a sprinter coming off a layoff will usually run her best in the 3rd or 4th start back. UNTETHERED SOUL - Ducheneaux brings this mare back into a race rather than a workout. He knows his mare is on top of her game. Ducheneaux tried her against the boys last time out. This should be a good spot. The morning line odds on this mare are higher than those of the other entrant from the shedrow of handler Ducheneaux. Often the longer-priced part of a 'split' entry wins.

SAKURABA - Based on the pace scenario in this affair, this equine doesn't fit in here. With a single front-runner and this equine having to race from behind, he sure has a tough assignment. The race on May 27th was versus maiden claimers. Pass on this one this time out versus the tougher group. CHARMING VINTAGE - Difficult to put any money on this gelding on the top end. Likes to hit the board though. Finished second in his most recent performance with a substandard speed rating. When I look at today's class figure, it would take an improved performance to score after that in this field.
