#6 Hidden Medal She has a long way to come if she's going to land this one, but she got bet like she was well meant in the debut, and DQ'ed winner of that race came back to graduate by five in her next start. Wondering if she sticks around better with Lasix today?
#2 More Ransom She finished in front of the top choice when they met back in May, and this one has since turned in another good effort. Something like her last probably does the trick at a relatively short price.
#9 Tudox I Don't Brag Debuter meets a somewhat questionable group from top to bottom, so she's not going to have to be a star to make an impact here at first asking. Get a look on the tote and track.
Race Summary Hidden Medal showed pace and faded in the debut run, but she might be better here with Lasix while meeting a group that has not shown any confirmed front-end speed so far. Hoping the pressing types are willing to lay off her a bit in the early going.

Presque Isle Downs - Race #5
Picks Notes
#7 Wild Irish She'll make her third start of the season after an improved effort last time out, and she might be able to hook herself right to the outside of Boo Boo Kitty in the early stages and prompt throughout. An inside-out draw move might work in her favor here.
#4 Boo Boo Kitty Forward player should be in the mix early with the top choice, but I worry she's going to get bet despite a string of running lines that show her losing ground late, and it's not all that likely that she ends up on an easy lead today.
#1 Paris Paramour Those Louisiana and Kentucky running lines might be good enough to land this first start with the locals, but I worry that she's going to have a good bit of work to do heading into the far turn at this sprint trip.
Race Summary Wild Irish and Boo Boo Kitty look like the pace in here, but the former gets a better draw for today's run and might appreciate not having to battle from an inside post. Price should be right, too.

Presque Isle Downs - Race #7
Picks Notes
#4 Caramel Martini Think she lands first run after relaxing just a touch behind a handful of more committed forward players, and Betmix Angler shows jockey Willie Martinez with a 14:5-3-1 record and a massive ROI in allowance sprints similar to this. Interesting if she can settle and get the jump.
#5 American Goddess No arguments here after landing a couple races with ease since showing up locally, but I worry the price is going to be too short based on the connections and recent lines, but I'm not totally sold that she's any significant step better than some of these.
#2 I Recall She has occasionally shown some ability to finish from further off the pace, and with some speed drawn inside and outside in this race, her best price chance may come from settling along the fence and saving some ground in hopes the pace starts to come back.
Race Summary Caramel Martini might get the perfect trip behind some battling pace players, and she has historically been very good over the local footing. Worth a look at something maybe a little shorter than the ML price?

#10 Jake Rocks and #1 Devils Code are clearly the most talented two horses in the race, so we will use those two to kick off the late pick 4. Jake Rocks takes a big class drop here, which should be to his liking. #1 Devils Code looks to be a bit more talented; however, this is his first start off of the layoff. That is a question mark.

Race 7: Allowance

#7 Price Discipline showed tremendous talent on debut, defeating maiden special weight company with ease by over 4-lengths. If he moves forward off of that effort at all the rest of these will be running for second. He looks to be the most likely winner on todays card.

Race 8: Allowance

This one truly looks to be a wide open affair. #7 Easter gets prat aboard once again today after running fourth in a Grade 1 event last time out over this track. This is quite the class drop for him after facing that tough field. #9 Hilliard goes for two in a row after picking up an impressive stater allowance win over this track in his last start.

Race 9: Maiden Claiming

#4 Miss Sugar Hill gets a major jockey upgrade to Prat today, while also dropping down to the maiden claiming ranks for the first time. #8 Mostly Harmless also will drop back down to the maiden claiming ranks today, while looking to have more talent than almost every one else in the field.

Had one of the strongest Equibase Speed Figures of this group in his last race. LASER LOOP - He has been running quite well and the speed figs are among the strongest in this group. Ought to come out strong - I have liked the way this gelding has moved quickly to the lead recently. ECRU - His 84 average has this gelding with among the top Speed Figures in this race. This gelding with Diaz in the saddle makes him a solid choice.

Have to make this filly a contender; she comes off a solid contest on June 10th. Three consecutive improved speed ratings (8-32-34) make this thoroughbred a solid contender. I like the case that this filly's last speed fig, 34, is tops in this bunch.

4^th race [Clm 25000, 1 mi] – (2) Crypto Cash has finished first or second in his last five starts and was claimed three times most recently by Rob Atras who took him back for $4,000 more than the first time. He cuts back to a mile which seems to be his best distance. Atras is winning with 29% of his new claims. (3) Grumps Little Tots returns from a November layoff for Charlie Baker and will make his first start since being claimed. He also was frequently claimed. (1) Dark Storm gets blinkers on for the first time and drops back down to the level at which he was claimed. (4) Lost in Rome also gets blinkers on and drops back down.
6^th race [Clm 25000 N2L, 6F] – (10) Jake Rocks drops out of a series of starter allowance races to the N2L condition where last time he was second. (1) Devil’s Code returns from an 11 month layoff when he was racing successfully in NY-bred allowances. (3) Heads Or Tails will exit starter allowances and drop down to the $25,000 level at which he broke his maiden. (2) Cajun Commander finished ahead of the top choice three races back in a starter allowance.
7^th race [NY, Alw 80000 N1X, 1 1/16 mi] – (7) Price Discipline (A) was an impressive debut winner for Chad Brown and he will get a little bit more distance as he faces winners for the first time. (2) Thrill of It got behind farther than usual last time as his best races are pressing the pace. (3) Colloquy broke his maiden in his third try for the Clement barn improving from third to second to the win. (4) Full Moon Fever ran third in his last three starts moving back to NY-bred company last time.
8^th race [Alw 92000 N1X, 1 3/8 mi TURF] – (7) Easter was a horse I was interested in when he ran in the Man o’War (G1) in his second start in America for Graham Motion. He should appreciate the class relief. (1) Balthus broke his maiden for Chad Brown in his second start of the year by six lengths while going ten furlongs. The extra distance should be right up his alley. (6) Hard Rye Guy ran a big race in April in a Keeneland allowance to be second. No doubt he ships up to New York because the turf course at Churchill Downs is closed and he will probably head to Saratoga after this race. (2) Q F Seventy Five has early speed and should try to steal this race on the front end with Joel Rosario staying on board.
Best bets: Crypto Cash (4^th); Price Discipline (7^th). Best value: Jake Rocks (6^th); Easter (8^th).

1st race – (1) Ain’t She a Pistol takes a class drop after two straight wins and should handle this bunch. (4) Beverly’s Charge was a distant second against better company and promises to be the main rival. (2) Lady Protonico faces weaker competition and should be formidable here. (3) Catchusifyoucan won easily at Lone Star and can be a factor. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4. Exactas: 1-4 over 2-3 and 2-3 over 1-4.
3rd race – (5) The Stiff (B) battled gamely throughout last time and lost by a head. Can make amends for that setback here. (4) Colonelsdarktemper was third last time and will be dangerous with a class drop. (6) Peekacho was a rallying second previously and cannot be ignored. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-6. Doubles: 4-5-6 with 1-4-6-7.
4th race – (1) American Hero could be ready for a big try after the Flint claim. (6) Tiwanaku was claimed last time out by Amoss and will be a top contender. (7) Happy Romance looked good in a comeback win and cannot be ignored. (4) Sono Grato should be a factor in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-6. Exactas: 1-6 over 4-7 and 4-7 over 1-6.
6th race – (3) All Luck closed out last fall with two straight wins. Can continue the winning streak here for Cox despite an 8-month layoff. (6) Played Hard looked sharp last time and should be the main competition. (5) Tap for Me was given a freshening after a nice win and fits in well with this group. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-6.
8th race – (5) Silverleaf (C) dropped from 2-1 to 8-5 and set the pace while settling for second last time. She should break her maiden here. (9) Spare Cash was second four straight times. How about five? (2) What’s to Do might appreciate the switch to dirt. (4) Hedy Lamarr is worth a look despite never running on dirt before. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-5-9.
