Monday 9/12/22 Free Plays / Trends / Betting Info / Etc
My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut for Monday is with the Atlanta Braves with the money-line versus the San Francisco Giants listing both starting pitchers Spencer Strider and Alex Cobb. Atlanta (87-53) has lost two games in a row after their 8-7 loss at Seattle yesterday. The Braves stay on the road where they have won 13 of their last 17 games. They have also won 44 of their last 51 games against teams with a losing record. San Francisco (67-73) has won two in a row after their 4-2 win in Chicago against the Cubs last night. The Giants have lost 5 of their last 7 games at home with the Total set in the 7-8.5 range. They have also lost 10 of their last 11 games against teams with a winning percentage over 60%. Take Atlanta with the money-line listing both starting pitchers. Best of luck — Frank.
Dave's Monday Free Play:
1* on San Francisco Giants +166 The Key: I like the price we are getting on the San Francisco Giants tonight. They have gone 6-5 in their last 11 games so they haven't packed it in. And they will be hungry to defeat the defending champion Braves in this series. Alex Cobb sports a 2.83 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 13 home starts this year. He has a 1.65 ERA in his last 3 outings, which have come against the Dodgers, Phillies and Twins. Spencer Strider has been vulnerable on the road this year with a 4.43 ERA in 9 starts away from home. Strider's worst start of the season came against the Giants on June 21st when he yielded 6 earned runs in 3 2/3 innings of a 12-10 defeat. Cobb is 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA in 2 lifetime starts against Atlanta. Take San Francisco.
