If you just look at final scores from last week the perception is that Minnesota manhandled Green Bay 23-7 and Philadelphia just got by Detroit 38-35 thus making Minnesota look like a live Dog here. But if you dig deeper into both games it was just the opposite. In the Minnesota game Green Bay had a dropped pass that would of went for a TD early in the game. Green Bay also went for TD on 4th and Goal early rather than kick FG so that’s 10 points right there left off the scoreboard. Green Bay also had two TO’s to none for Minnesota. Now let’s look at Philadelphia’s 38-35 Victory as it was actually 38-21 before Detroit scored two late meaningless TD’s. Philly dominated that game last week before going into prevent mode in the 4th Q as they racked up 216 yds on the ground and another 239 thru the air. Last week Green Bay had success running the football against Minnesota but had to abandon the running game because they fell so far behind. Minnesota gave up 111 yards rushing on just 18 carries. Philadelphia ran the ball 39 times last week and should have success again this week against Minnesota. We also find that Minnesota is just 3-9 ATS in its last twelve Monday night road games.
