Toledo has thrived in this matchup over the years, scoring 38 points or more in six of the last seven meetings between the two teams. In regard to the total on Tuesday - which currently sits in the low-50's - the question is whether Bowling Green can contribute enough offensively to help this one get 'over' the number. I believe the Falcons can as they look to shake off consecutive punchless offensive performances against Western Michigan and Kent State. Note that those two games were played at home. Bowling Green has put up 31 and 34 points in its two MAC road tilts this season. It's not as if Toledo possesses a shutdown defense, having allowed 21 points or more in five straight games in-conference. If you go back six games you'll find the Rockets giving up just 17 points against Central Michigan but that contest still got to 55 total points. Here, we'll note that the 'over' is a perfect 7-0 with Toledo coming off a home victory over the last two seasons with that spot producing a ridiculous average total of 75.0 points scored.
