Carolina has been a solid road team as of late. They've cashed in 8 of the last 11 games away from home as they can put the puck in the back of the net in flurries.
New York has gone just 1-4 in their last 5 against teams with over .600 winning percentages and this is just not a good matchup for them

I had the Panthers in their win yesterday, and here is what I said before the puck dropped: "The Panthers are still battling for a playoff spot. coming into tonight's game in the Motor City sitting one point out of the final Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference. History favors Florida, as the Panthers are 9-1 in the last 10 meetings, and they have won four of their last five at Detroit." While it is the second game of a back to back, Philly is going through the motions and polishing their golf clubs.

NHL | Predators vs Sabres

This is a 1* FREE PLAY on the Sabres.
Buffalo needs a spark here at the end of the regular season after waffling over the last month. It enters having lost seven of its last eight, including three in a row.
Note though that the Sabres are 4-1 in their last five after three or more straight losses in a row. They're off a humbling 7-0 loss here to Boston two nights ago, but note that they're also 3-1 in their last four off a shutout home loss as an underdog.
They beat Nashville 5-3 on the road back in January, but I'm not reading anything into the "revenge" angle tonight.
The Predators are in dire need of a victory as well, but their form is almost as bad as the Sabres, having lost three in a row, including a 7-0 loss at the Rangers most recently.
With two straight home games vs. the Kraken after this though, I say the Predators' losing streak extends at least one more game.
Consider BUFFALO in this one.

Considering how hot they are right now, having won six of their last seven and four in a row, and also taking into account that they enjoy the home ice advantage, I feel the Rangers offer tremendous value in this spot, despite the opponent. Yes, the Hurricanes are one of the best in the league, but their current form leaves everything to be desired (just 2-3 in their L5, and needed OT to beat the Flyers last time out.) These teams will play again in two nights in Carolina, and I say the home side gets caught "looking ahead;" all things considered, I believe this to be the very definition of "great line value," so consider New York in this one!

I'm betting the Wizards -105 on the money line. Washington is getting no love from the books in this one after two blowout losses against the number. Wizards failed to cover by 17.5 in a road game at Cleveland and then by 9.5 at home against the Kings. Thing is, Washington has absolutely owned this series. Wizards have won 7 straight in the series, going 5-2 ATS in that stretch. I would also give the rest edge to Washington. Wizards will be playing on a full 2 days of rest. Magic will be on just 1 day of rest and will be playing their 3rd game in 4 nights. Last two were on the road against the Clippers and Lakers. Definitely a flat spot for Orlando. Give me the Wizards -105!
