BILLY YANK - This rider and conditioner have a beneficial ROI when they partner up. Have to like this gelding today. If you take a look at his PP lines you see a definite trend, getting closer with each race. This gelding is in good form. Finished third on Mar 4th. FLY'N SEXY - Finished fifth at Sam Houston last out. Was close at the end and at odds of 20/1 right here in this race, he looks like a possible contender. I like this gelding. Has the topmost EPS (earnings per start) in today's contest.

GUSTAVO - Looked like he was in good form on Mar 11th. Hasn't been near the track since then though. Not a positive sign. This gelding earned a speed figure in his last contest which probably isn't good enough in today's event. GAMMA RAY - I can't play this confirmed non-winner. Gets the job done from time to time. Last effort was too nice. Not too far of a reach to expect a 'bounce' this time around. TEXAS PRADO - Difficult to put any dough on this gelding on the front end. Likes to finish in the money though. Didn't do much last out. Probably won't do much running in today's event. Finished fourth in his most recent effort with a somewhat easily forgotten speed fig. When I look at today's class figure, it would take an improved performance to prove victorious after that in this field.
