I have to consider CHARLIES FURY here. Will make a strong performance versus this field of horses. Has been running in the most competitive company of the field recently. Has run solidly when racing a short race. NSM PARKS CANDY GIRL - Is a definite contender - given the 77 speed figure from her most recent race. Sound average Equibase Speed Figures in short races make this animal a contender. IM A FANCEE CHIK - This filly could improve on Lasix. Will probably be one of the leaders of the bunch going into the halfway point of the contest.

GRACEFUL UNION - You always have to be on the watch for bankroll building jockey/conditioner tandems; we have one right here. This horse coming off a sharp performance in the last month is a strong challenger in my humble opinion. WHAT'S TO DO - Faced tougher last out at Churchill Downs. Based on Equibase class ratings, this is a weaker group, so I will put this thoroughbred on my list of probable winners in this race. This jock/conditioner duo has been producing a very favorable ROI, right at +41. This filly garnered a good rating of 80 in her last contest. That speed rating should be strong enough to score this time. Leading into this race, this racer has recorded three speed ratings that are equal to or higher than today's class rating. What that tells me is she should compete well in this event. Have to forget about that last race on the turf. This filly should do better hitting the main track today. TWO WORDS - Blair drops her down to this class level. You don't need too much more handicapping data to think this thoroughbred has a good chance at this level. MISS ANALYZED - Last ran at Churchill Downs and finished fourth. Reviewing her PP data, I see she was close at the end, within five of the winner. I like that latest contest on May 13th at Churchill Downs where she ran fourth.

EXCLUSIVE JONI - This filly registered a speed figure in her last event which likely isn't good enough today. SHE'S MAGIC - Recorded a common rating last time out in a Maiden Special race on April 29th. Not likely to see an improved performance off of that figure. MAGIC PALACE - 6/1 is just not enough of a value to take on most any entrant that has run poorly in back to back efforts.

GUEST COMMENTARY: The Brain - GRACEFUL UNION - Pouring over thousands of records has given me insight into this type of horse. With her front running pace, this one may be unchallenged.

CASCADE BILLY looks to be a formidable contender. May best this group here, showing very strong figures of late. Appears to have a quite good class edge based on the most recent company kept. Is worth thinking about and may be a bet - strong Speed Figures (92 average) at today's distance and surface lately. BIG UNION - Ran a strong last race. SET TO SHINE - Looks to have a quite good class edge based on the most recent company kept. No strangers to the winner's circle, Heads and Reyes should have this horse breaking away from the field.

STORMIN GALILEO - The rest of the field may trail this horse all the way around the track. SUGAR BEETS - Gelding's finish positions keep getting better with each race. Maybe today's the day. Ayuso comes to get aboard after getting to know the gelding in the last race. This gelding is in first-rate condition right now. Finished third last out and comes back quickly. A repeat of that last effort on May 12th where he registered a figure of 88 looks lofty enough to win in this affair. SPEED GRAZY - This thoroughbred isn't the M/L favorite, but finished ahead of today's M/L favorite in his last race (May 12th at Golden Gate Fields). Wong brings him back again. I advocate you stick with this hot gelding. Just look at his last fig, 88. That one fits well in this bunch.
