I'll take my chances with the Cubs as a -132 home favorite in Monday's series opener against the Giants. Easy play for me on Chicago, as I feel this is a more than fair price to back the Cubs at home with ace Justin Steele on the mound. Steele is 15-3 with a 3.06 ERA and 1.188 WHIP in 25 starts. Cubs have won 11 of his 15 home starts this season. Steele is in great form right now as well, posting a 2.00 ERA and 1.167 WHIP over his last 3 starts. San Francisco is going to send out Logan Webb, who is just 4-5 with a 4.63 ERA in 14 road starts. Webb pitched better in his last start, but still owns a sub-par 5.71 ERA and 1.327 WHIP over his last 3 starts. Another thing here is the struggles the Giants are having at the plate of late. SF has scored just 4 total runs in their last 3 games combined. GIve me the Cubs -132!
