MY TICKET - I think this gelding is ready to run a good one. He's had enough outings since the vacation and should be fit. The addition of the 'shades' should keep his mind on business today. SOMETHING ON TAP - I'm anticipating this mount to run a big race this time. AGNELLO CITY - Skerrett brings him right back. I suggest you stick with this hot gelding. Just look at his recent rating, 30. That one fits in this bunch. This gelding is certainly on the improve with speed figs of 15, 22, 30 last 3 out.

I'LL FINISH - Forgive the out of the money finish on the off track in the last race. On a fast track, has a shot in this race. RECKLESS AFFAIR - A win percentage like 31 is terrific for any jock/trainer twosome. ELUSIVE MOTION - The ROI when Barrios and Demczyk team up is fantastic. This racer coming off a strong race in the last month or so is a strong challenger in my opinion.

Vulnerable Contenders: #8 LONE LEADER (ML=9/5), #6 CANT GLIDE BY KATZ (ML=2/1), #1 WHISKEY SUNRISE (ML=8/1),

LONE LEADER - I don't normally play a morning-line choice that hasn't been to the track in the last two to three weeks. CANT GLIDE BY KATZ - When examining today's class figure, he will have to register a much better speed rating than last time around the track to be competitive in this dirt sprint. WHISKEY SUNRISE - Mountaineer Park isn't cozy quarters to this horse. Tough to put any dough on this gelding on the win end. Likes to finish in the money though. Finished second in his most recent effort with a most unsatisfactory speed figure. When I look at today's class figure, it would take an improved performance to win after that in this field.

Certainly did like this gelding's last race. Ran a solid 70 speed rating. Major player. COVID - Drawing the 5 post at this track has lead to a much better than average win rate. Has the perfect running style to handle this group, according to the pace ratings. EXTRAVAGANT ART - Take a look at this nice horse's avg speed figure of 76 and compare to today's class rating. Looks like a really good wager. With a 77 avg class number, this race horse has one of the best class advantages in the group of horses.
