*3 Star Play on Dallas Stars ML
    * The Dallas Stars defense and goaltender are elite. It is going to be very hard to generate high quality scoring chances against this group this season. Toronto is very talented, but they aren't nearly as good away from home. Toronto has given up 20 goals already this year. Dallas has given up only 11. The Stars are priced at a discount here. Take Dallas.

              UNDER 43.5 Bucs/Bills

In Week 8, it's the Buccaneers (3-3) versus the Bills (4-3) on Thursday Night Football, and you can catch the action on Amazon Prime Video. They'll be facing off at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, New York, with kickoff set for 8:15pm ET. When it comes to betting in Week 9 of the NFL, here are the numbers: The Moneyline (ML) offers the Buccaneers at +320 and the Bills at -405 for those who prefer straight up bets. Additionally, we've got the ATS lines, with the Bills favored by -8.5 points, and the Over/Under (O/U) is set between 42.5 up to 43.5.

In their recent outings, Buffalo suffered a 29-25 defeat on the road against the Patriots, while the Bucs had a disappointing 16-13 loss to the Falcons at home. Weather won't be a factor. Game time temps call for low 70's, and no rain.

For starters the Bucs can't run the ball, so that makes them 1-dimensional. Buffalo, while banged up should be licking their chops to come after Baker on Thursday in Full Old School Buffalo Blitzkrieg mode. (Is Bruce Smith available?) Baker is going to have to go full on check-down Baker to move the ball on Thursday night.

I have to admit I don't have a lot of faith in the Bills offense either. Josh Allen has been pretty putrid the last few weeks, and if you dig into the Bucs defensive stats they're actually not that bad a D. Expect lots of stalled drives, punts, and hopefully no turnovers creating short field's for the offense.

Some trends to note, the total has gone UNDER in 6 of Tampa Bay's L7 games, and in 8 of Tampa Bay's L10 games on the road. On the other side, a random trend, but one that does apply here, the total has gone UNDER in 5 of Buffalo's L5 games played on a Thursday.

It seems like the obvious play, let's hope it's a winning pick!

We're backing the UNDER on Thursday Night Football.

              Good Luck, Razor Ray.
