Carolina is 7th in the league in expected goals differential at 5 on 5 compared to 14th for the Rangers (4% advantage). They also have an 8.5% advantage in Corsi differential and a 3.5% advantage in high danger chances. The Rangers have been getting some undeserved wins and I don't expect it to continue.
I'll take my chances with the Raptors as a 9-point road dog against the 76ers. Philly comes in 3-0 ATS and I believe it has them way overpriced in this matchup. I know Toronto is playing on no rest after a big win over the Bucks as a home dog on Wednesday, but it's early in the season. The lack of rest shouldn't have as big of an impact as it will in a couple months. You also have to factor in the price. Philly has to win by double-digits to cover. There's also revenge on the line for the Raptors, who lost by 7 at home to the 76ers last week. Give me Toronto +9!

The Toronto Maple Leafs travel to Boston to take on the Bruins on Thursday night. Toronto is 5-4 overall this year while Boston comes in with an 8-1 overall record on the season. Toronto is 6-1 last 7 games after a home loss of 3 or more goals. Toronto is 14-3 last 17 games after a loss of 3 or more goals. Toronto is 4-1 last 5 games against a team with a winning record. Toronto is 10-3 last 13 road games. Toronto is 9-4 last 13 games when playing on 1 days rest. We'll recommend a small play on Toronto tonight! Thanks and good luck, Rocky
The Tennessee Titans go on the road to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Thursday night football. Tennessee comes into this game at 3-4 while the Steelers are 4-3 this season. The Titans snapped a two-game losing streak last week with a win over Atlanta, behind rookie quarterback Will Levis. Levis threw for 238 yards with four touchdowns and zero interceptions. The Titans rank 23rd in scoring at 18.9 points a game. They have the 13th-best rushing attack but they have the fourth worst passing attack. On the defensive side, they are giving up 20 points per game. Pittsburgh is currently 4-3 this season. They are coming off a loss last week, a game in which they lost quarterback Kenny Pickett to injury. His status for tonight's game will be a game-time decision. The Steelers have the third-worst scoring offense in the NFL, putting up just 16.1 points per game. They rank 25th in passing and 28th in rushing. On the defensive end, they are giving up 21 points per game which ranks 18th. The Steelers have the better defense in this game and if Pickett can't go, they will have to carry the offense. If Pickett was 100% healthy I would lean Steelers but I can't see him being that healthy even if he starts. Pittsburgh's defense should be able to confuse Levis at some point. I don't have much faith in either offense and will look for the defenses to have a better game. I will go with the UNDER.
The Oilers are hungry for wins after stumbling out of the gate to a 2-5-1-0 record to start the season. The Stars are 6-1-0-1, but after a 4-3 win at Calgary just last night, we expect fatigue to play a major factor here for Dallas in the second game of the back-to-back. Edmonton snapped its four-game slide with the 5-2 win over the Flames in the outdoor game and we expect the well-rested home side to figure out a way to deliver here at home vs. this tired visiting team; consider Edmonton on Thursday night!
