I think KANCANCUTIE is a very good pick especially at a such a nice price. Has been racing admirably and has among the strongest speed in the race for today's distance. Has been racing in the most competitive company of the group recently. Overall the speed figures of this animal look very good in this contest. SHE'SMYSMOKESHOW - Should come out sharp - I have liked the way this filly has moved sharply to the front end recently. Horses who have been prepared to race at this distance and surface by Wilson have shown solid results recently. JUST A WIN - Has to be carefully examined - I like the numbers from the last contest.

You don't need too much more handicapping data to believe this horse has a good chance at this level. If this thoroughbred repeats any of her last 3 efforts, she'll have a great shot to win right here in this race. Synnefias enters this animal in a spot where she should fit well based on her last 2 Equibase speed figs. This mare's last speed fig garnered on October 17th is at the top in last race speed ratings. ALWAJD - Aboard this horse on October 26th and Hernandez is back again in the irons today.

CAPT. CANDY is my choice and is a very good value-based wager given the 12/1 line. He has been running soundly as of late while recording very strong speed figures. Will most likely come out strong - I have liked the way this gelding has moved quickly to the lead recently. Looks to have a respectable class edge based on the recent company kept. YOUNG SQUIRE - Nunez will most likely be able to get this gelding to break out sharply for this event. Must be given a chance for this event if only for the quite good speed figure earned in the last contest. DEPOLI - Ought to be carefully examined - I like the figures from the last race. No strangers to the winner's circle, Coledavis and Trejos will probably have this gelding breaking away from the field.

J. WICK - This pace horse could take the lead quickly. My guess is he'll take a shot at bolting out of the gate, and never looking back. Have to like the way Brown has raced this gelding back into shape off the layoff. Horse is well spotted in this sprint and I think he'll run well today. Ranks at the top in earnings per start. A powerful performance today can increase the lifetime bankroll.

LAST PARTY - This less than sharp equine hasn't been on the track since Sep 30th. Not even any works. Multiple attempts for this runner at Charles Town and still hasn't received his first victory here. Recorded a mediocre speed rating in the last race in a $7,500 Maiden Claiming race on September 30th. Not likely to see an improved performance off of that figure. DOG TOWN ALLEN - Mediocre speed fig in the last race at Charles Town at 4 1/2 furlongs. Don't believe this runner will improve too much today.

Should come out strong - I have liked the way this mare has moved swiftly to the front end recently. ALWAJD - Conditioner has sharp win rate (16 percent) at this distance and surface. I would give the nod to this filly on the jock and conditioner numbers alone. MIKEY'S JEWEL - Could provide positive profits based on very strong recent speed figures with an average of 51.

YOU'RE MY BOY BLUE - When this rider and handler partner up you have to take a look. Salazarbecerra and Morales have been fabulous together. This gelding won at this distance on May 23rd and was at a higher class than today. This racer should go right out to the early lead and may never look back. Could wire the field. Ranked number 1 in earnings per race. Another notice that this horse outclasses this field. KARAMEL CORN - This gelding is in first-rate physical condition right now. Ran second last time out and comes back rapidly. I like the piece of information that this gelding's last speed figure, 66, is tops in this group.

Vulnerable Contenders: #5 HONOR THE D (ML=5/2), #1 SERENDIPITOUS (ML=9/2), #6 ATTACK ANGLE (ML=5/1),

HONOR THE D - I don't normally play a probable favorite that hasn't been to the track in the last few weeks. SERENDIPITOUS - In the last affair this less than sharp equine finished fifth. Doesn't bode well for his chances this time out. Finished fifth in his most recent performance with a run-of-the-mill speed rating. When I look at today's Equibase class figure, it would take an improved performance to prove victorious after that in this bunch. ATTACK ANGLE - This horse just hasn't looked ready of late.

ARDEN'S ASSAULT - I have to like this filly's likelihood of winning at the shorter trip. The jockey and handler combination have a beneficial ROI when they join forces. I like when a horse wins after shipping in from elsewhere. It shows that they really like the track here. I'll take this filly to win again. MUSIC FESTIVAL - This filly has been trying different distances, but from the looks of things, she ran a nice figure last try at this trip. Was in a $40,000 Optional Claiming race at Horseshoe Indianapolis last out. That event had a class figure of 96 and she is moving down right here. A certain contender. A repeat of that latest performance on Oct 17th where she earned a speed figure of 77 looks good enough to win in this event. I usually like playing sprinters who are 3-4 races into a return. PROMISE OF HOPE - Amoss adds Lasix for the 2nd time today. This should help right here.
